By the end of the war, we might be able to make a full Lego movie just off of the lego videos Iran release.

That would be good, full unredacted files for peace, the victims could decide if they want to accept.

> negotiations were "incompatible with ultimatums and threats to commit war crimes." threatening another country with total destruction is also incompatible with them letting you build ballistic missiles and produce near weapon-grade uranium. Also sending cluster missiles on cities isn't just a threat to commit war crimes, it's a war crime. As well as the targeting of civilian vessels transporting oil. Are negotiations supposed to be compatible with that? And targeting power plants and bridges isn't a war crime if it has military consequences and is proportionate.

They weren't attacking anything a few weeks ago. They were provoked.

They were attacked first that's true but it's never a good reason to commit war crimes. I think we all agreed to that when it was Israel in Gaza. Iran is allowed to defend itself by targeting US / Israeli military bases. At most they can target the energy sources of these bases, and logistic hubs, with [proportionality](https://casebook.icrc.org/a_to_z/glossary/proportionality), and the US / Israel can do the same in Iran.

You're right, war crimes are bad. Iran isn't innocent whatsoever, but let's stop pretending who started the war, one that was unprovoked and without international support. Until you can agree on that basic fact, you should refrain from commenting on things.

Yeah it’s amazing that even the headlines are meant to soothe the markets when their response is “get fucked”

That’ll explain why there has been an attack on a major petrochemical site in Iran then.
