They are really giving him the weekend at Bernie’s treatment eh? How long before they cart him out and move him around like a marionette.

Itd be hilarious if the US pretended they were talking to him the whole time and Iran was forced to admit he was dead.

I pretty much refuse to believe this guy is alive till we get proof of life lol

Doesn't matter if he's alive or not, the message stands.
27
nodigit 1 day ago +22
The message stands from who exactly? Some random guy in Iran?
22
SpiritualB0x3 1 day ago +6
They may have ChatGPTed him?

Do they have auto-pen over there by chance?

Environmental-Fun258 1 day ago +17
It matters in that him being dead would only make it more clear to the world that the Iranian regime is radical and delusional. Can’t exist without Dear Leader!

Sometimes the Praetorian Guard is more in charge than the Emperor.

Sure during war time But what about actually making decisions?

IntelArtiGen 1 day ago +4
> would only make it more clear to the world that the Iranian regime is radical and delusional If "the world" hasn't get it yet, nothing will make it get it. Even if he was dead and them talking for him, that's absolutely nothing compared to what they've done in their history. These guys supported Assad.

the_mighty_peacock 1 day ago +6
Russians supported Assad too. I dont see USA invading them. Screw that, I dont even see them actively supporting Ukraine. How come we only remember to call baddies when among all others they got some huge oil reserves?
6
Sanguinor-Exemplar 1 day ago +1
>I don't even see them actively supporting Ukraine Yeah cause all you see is on listnook and listnook is a psyop.
1
SporksInjected 1 day ago -2
The United States has given almost $100B to Ukraine over the past few years.
-2
IntelArtiGen 1 day ago -3
> I dont see USA invading them. The US hasn't invaded Iran. And they're actively supporting Ukraine. Remember when they said that they didn't deliver Patriot missiles to Ukraine? It's because for 1+ year they've been saying "we're not helping Ukraine" while delivering patriot missiles. And they'll continue. Also it's quite consistent, Russia has nuclear missiles and it's well known that it's harder to attack countries when they have nuclear missiles and when it's too late.

But it IS still existing. Iran is being run fragmented. You can't negotiate with that. They are unified in their hatred of the west and each fragment is going to exercise their power to maximize their retaliation, buts it's not coordinated. Trump may be making a deal with some guy who has an important role, but decision making is decentralized. Short term is a nightmare, but its unsustainable
1
TDSsince1980 1 day ago +4
Huh maybe killing the entire senior leadership while pretending to be in negotiations had a negative effect.
4
cobrachicken26 1 day ago +1
I hope that if he ends up being alive they don't treat him like some Jesus figure💀

mpsteidle 1 day ago +2
If he is he won't stay that way, thats for sure.

He will be a hero unfortunately as a victor against the empire. Much like Luke Skywalker. Even better we murdered his parent and his children, so even more sympathetic views will be held.

It doesn’t matter they have their command set up like a Hydra and IRGC was transferred power before his dad death according to them lol. He’s the religious figure to galvanize the Shias

MoogleStiltzkin 1 day ago +5
is it the cardboard mojtaba? does anyone even know if he is still alive even o-O:
5
Political_breeds 1 day ago +4
We want a fair national election to elect the new Supreme leader of Iran. Fair and free and frankly that's not too much to ask.
4
MoogleStiltzkin 1 day ago +2
that's a tough ask when civilians were massacred out on the streets for merely protesting, voicing out their displeasure. so no, there is no democracy :/ so how r people gonna vote in a fair election?
2
FewResearcher2606 1 day ago +1
Lol we don't even want a new supreme leader. But at least choosing him directly by the people would be much better than this. They chose him after his father died, basically monarchy with extra steps.
1
Ultra_Metal 1 day ago +2
The Black Knight in Monty Python was also very resolute even after losing all his limbs. There wasn't much he could do though.
2
MikeJL21209 1 day ago +1
They can have him
1
TheSleepyTruth 1 day ago +1
More accurately... "I will avenge my father"
1
Puppies_Rainbows4 1 day ago -11
You mean killing the guys father, wife, and children could cause him to seek revenge over the next 40 years? I am shocked; I thought everything would be water under the bridge
-11
maxofJupiter1 1 day ago +44
Do you really think the IRGC hardline didnt already hate America? What type of argument is this? Also the guys father was a mass murderer
44
728766 1 day ago +14
Gosh, you act like they’ve been chanting “Death to America! Death to Israel!” at schools for 40 years. /s

Different_Syrup_6944 1 day ago -2
Two wrongs don't make a right. There are no 'good guys' involved in this war.
-2
foghillgal 1 day ago -7
The US basically made it personal. That\`s the reason why leaders are not regularly targeted. Iran \`s bounty against Rushdie almost got him killed 30+ years after it was enacted. So, involved in this will have to look over his shoulder for the next 40 years. Good luck to them I guess.
-7
the_mighty_peacock 1 day ago -1
For Iranians (and many others for that matter) US officials are also mass murderers. I wonder how USA would react if they killed Trump. And Melania. And Ivanka. And Barron. To give an idea.

maxofJupiter1 1 day ago +10
Except the Persian people were celebrating
10
muskratboy 1 day ago +2
Americans would also be celebrating, should this happen.
2
the_mighty_peacock 1 day ago
You know one doesnt contradict the other right? Persian people celebrated the death of their dictator, I dont think they really celebrated the massacre of a whole school.

It's not an argument, it's a fact. America will need to watch its back. That is also a fact.

maxofJupiter1 1 day ago +27
What can Iran do that they haven't already? Fund terrorist groups? Attack shipping? Try to assassinate world leaders? Wow
27
ChroniclesOfSarnia 1 day ago +1
**US funds terrorist groups, particularly in Central America** **US bombed boats in the Carribean. And murdered injured victims of those attacks.** **US has assassinated multiple Iranian leaders.** Wow

>Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Thursday said that the country is resolute in seeking revenge for the killing of late supreme leader and other martyrs There goes any chance of peace in the short term.

EatinSumGrapes 1 day ago -8
Overall the Iran regime is winning here. I'm parroting NPR but Iran now knows the most power miltary in the world (USA) and region (Israel) struggle greatly to actually remove the regime's power. Even bigger they now know how the world reacts and is affected when they close the Strait of Hormuz, they will be using this as a huge strategic advantage and to generate future wealth with tolls. They know America has ruines its alliances over all this. They came out waaaaaay on top. The only issue is if Trump does go nuclear or go full on invasion, that is the only way they lose, and the USA also loses if they do that.

Different_Syrup_6944 1 day ago +10
As the saying goes, war doesn't determine who is right, only who is left. And as always, those who lose the most are the poor and most vulnerable of society.
10
IceMysterious3056 1 day ago -11
Iran is certainly winning when it comes to favorites in the war...I thought it be opposite but everyone hates the US and Israel now.
-11
BetSquare7190 1 day ago +13
Nothing new here. One of Iran's slogan has been "Death to America, Death to Israel" for 50 years now.
13
Ok_Wasabi8793 1 day ago +2
Aggressors are rarely popular. I think most think irans leadership sucks and support the people but the attacks on them isn’t going to make them less radical nor are they likely to remove the current regime or improve people’s lot.. so yea, what’s the point. A war with no clear goals, achieving little, hurting global economies and US soft power.

ImaginationToForm2 1 day ago +1
Before they just greatly disliked us. But now they despise us. GG Trump.
1
thecloakofignorance 1 day ago -13
The real danger here is that Israel looks all out of options short of nuclear. NOT defending Israel, just pointing at a trajectory
-13
Key-Rough-8346 1 day ago -2
We need to abandon Israel like the parasitic leech that it is. The world will be better for it.
-2
yehoshuabenson 1 day ago +1
You're welcome to try. Many have, and they're......dead. Pathetic
1
Key-Rough-8346 1 day ago -1
See, Israel bootlickers make these psychotic statements frequently, all while Israel continues to bomb civilians. Your country is creepy, and most Americans want nothing to do with it.
-1
yehoshuabenson 1 day ago +1
Dude just suggested killing me and my family. Lmao what a weirdo
1
yehoshuabenson 1 day ago +2
Also, Israel survived for decades without US aid.
2
Key-Rough-8346 1 day ago +1
And they should continue to survive without it. I don’t want to see American tax money funding Israel’s disgusting acts.
1
yehoshuabenson 1 day ago +4
You know that aid to Israel goes back into the US economy, right?
4
Key-Rough-8346 1 day ago +3
Yeah, I dislike the military industrial complex even without Israeli warmongering. No thanks.
3
yehoshuabenson 1 day ago +5
American aid to Israel is strictly for the Iron Dome which is by definition defensive.
5
Key-Rough-8346 1 day ago +2
Maybe they wouldn’t need to use the Iron Dome so much if they’d stop attacking others.
2
thecloakofignorance 1 day ago -4
Aushwitz went right back into the German economy.
-4
yehoshuabenson 1 day ago +5
Boy that didn't take long to get to Holocaust inversion. The Iron Dome, which the US funding goes towards, is defensive.
5
thecloakofignorance 1 day ago -1
You associated aid to Israel with an economic good to distract from a moral evil. The analogy is apt
