If "the world" hasn't get it yet, nothing will make it get it. Even if he was dead and them talking for him, that's absolutely nothing compared to what they've done in their history. These guys supported Assad.

Russians supported Assad too. I dont see USA invading them. Screw that, I dont even see them actively supporting Ukraine.

The US hasn't invaded Iran. And they're actively supporting Ukraine. Remember when they said that they didn't deliver Patriot missiles to Ukraine? It's because for 1+ year they've been saying "we're not helping Ukraine" while delivering patriot missiles. And they'll continue.
Also it's quite consistent, Russia has nuclear missiles and it's well known that it's harder to attack countries when they have nuclear missiles and when it's too late.

But it IS still existing. Iran is being run fragmented. You can't negotiate with that. They are unified in their hatred of the west and each fragment is going to exercise their power to maximize their retaliation, buts it's not coordinated. Trump may be making a deal with some guy who has an important role, but decision making is decentralized. Short term is a nightmare, but its unsustainable

Lol we don't even want a new supreme leader. But at least choosing him directly by the people would be much better than this.
They chose him after his father died, basically monarchy with extra steps.

The US basically made it personal. That\`s the reason why leaders are not regularly targeted.
Iran \`s bounty against Rushdie almost got him killed 30+ years after it was enacted. So, involved in this will have to look over his shoulder for the next 40 years. Good luck to them I guess.

Overall the Iran regime is winning here. I'm parroting NPR but Iran now knows the most power miltary in the world (USA) and region (Israel) struggle greatly to actually remove the regime's power. Even bigger they now know how the world reacts and is affected when they close the Strait of Hormuz, they will be using this as a huge strategic advantage and to generate future wealth with tolls. They know America has ruines its alliances over all this. They came out waaaaaay on top. The only issue is if Trump does go nuclear or go full on invasion, that is the only way they lose, and the USA also loses if they do that.

Aggressors are rarely popular. I think most think irans leadership sucks and support the people but the attacks on them isn’t going to make them less radical nor are they likely to remove the current regime or improve people’s lot.. so yea, what’s the point.
A war with no clear goals, achieving little, hurting global economies and US soft power.
