Middle East war: Iran reports shooting down a US F-35 fighter jet over its territory. This comes as Iran also launched missiles towards Israel. The US Central Command has not yet confirmed the F-35 incident. Earlier, three US F-15E aircraft were downed in Kuwait due to friendly fire during Operation Epic Fury. The conflict between the US and Iran is ongoing.

From what I know, they didn't even shoot down one F-35, so how did they manage to shoot down a second? Did they just skip the number 1? Afaik they shot at one F-35 and I heard it was damaged but able to get back to base? This information warfare is so difficult...never know if something is true or not. In war, truth dies first.

The F-35 they shot was written off, even if it landed successfully. Technically a shoot down, since that particular F-35 won’t be flying anymore
