Probably he knows that the embassy is the safest place for him amidst this conflict. He must be on hit list .

With his diplomatic passport revoked, anything he does outside the embassy could get him arrested as a normal illegal migrant..

His passport wouldn’t be revoked unless Iran revoked it. But if you’re not on a diplomatic mission, you don’t have diplomatic immunity, even if you have a diplomatic passport.

Diplomatic status is granted by the host country not his own, while they will not ‘take the passport’ it loses its value and becomes a normal passport when your diplomatic status is revoked. So as the comment mentioned he could be arrested as he ignored the safe passage that is normally granted before officially revoking the status to give the diplomat a chance to leave the country.

Stepping our of embassy will probably make him an illegal immigrant and subject to arrest

I saw a video(now deleted) about an hour ago of this guy being dragged through the street, headbutted, then thrown into the boot of a car. It seems Lebanon is finally getting sick of Hezbollah.

I know right, its absolutely impossible for Israel to get rid of Netanyahu who started this war to stay out of prison

Impossible? Actually, Just an election would do it. Israel is a democracy, unlike those they're fighting against.

They just want to virtue signal their hatred of filthy Je---I mean, ISRAELI LEADERS

No, you're right. He's a very popular figure among his constituency. As are his genocidal views.

Oh joy, a know nothing commenting on processes he couldn’t possibly explain how to execute upon in a nation of “laws” that are enforced. Yea they’ll just force an election will they? Is that before or after they… protest? Is it the secret “override” button behind glass they can press when they don’t like the leader? Jesus, get a grip. This only ends one way, and it rhymes with “be a team”.

call-the-wizards Mar 29, 2026 +30
Now multiply this by several hundred (thousand?) Islamic Republic regime officials refusing to leave Iran after being declared persona non grata by the Iranian people, and you know how Iranians feel.

You can't say this loud enough!!

So the IRGC are actively building and recruiting in Lebanon as well as helping Hezbollah to recover. But I cant work out from the article if Hezbollah wants him gone or supports him. The article says both.

itai9997 Mar 29, 2026 +13
They can't enforce their own agreements on Hezbollah. They can't even deport a single diplomat. Do they even have the authority to make a cease fire?

Gooch_Doctor Mar 29, 2026 +8
Maybe Mossad should pay him a visit

Street_Anon Mar 29, 2026 +2
