Iran isn't going to back down. Trump has no face saving way out. The only way this is going to end is with the removal of Trump from power. So barring a miracle that's 2 -3 years away plus however long it takes the next guy to sort everything out and the amount of time it takes the world economy to recover.

They are waiting for a land invasion I think. Until then they are peppering the area with a couple hits a day here and there and the express warning if this red line or that is crossed they will overwhelm interceptors to blow up energy and water infrastructure. Until then they are still destroying like multi-million dollar equipment with drones costing several thousand so... Still productive warfare for them.

They have literally spent years anticipating that America and Israel would decap their leadership, they've mitigated by basically allowing lower level commanders to act on their own initiative in the event their senior leadership gets taken out.
