Iran is developing the same frustration as America has where trump lies, they correct him, and he just repeats the lie.

Iran is waiting for the ground invasion.
They want troops in range of their soldiers and drones and missiles. They want to send out videos of US military personel getting blown up by a drone on the internet to break American morale here.
Then the next elections candidates willing to get the quickest negotiation to to end this, probably with favorable terms to Iran, will get elected.
And they will get a better deal.

Considering no one outside of the Trump admin even wants to be in this war in the first place, it won't be very hard to break the American public's "morale."
It's cute that Iran still thinks public opinion has any influence over Trump's decision making. It's like they think we're still a democracy or something.

Oh this war started with morale shattered and in the gutter. Its launch was about as unpopular as the worst parts of the last several failed wars from America.
I mean Republicans have been losing elections with wild double digit swings.
I get that Trump intends to cheat every chance he gets but depending on the method there are varying levels of limit to that. You also need loyalists who believe there is a future in helping you do immense crimes. Which... Trump is an 80 year old man who is decaying before our eyes and historically unpopular.
There really isn't much future left with him to run with.
Even if this turns into a dictatorship public opinion matters. Dictators still rule with the consent of the people below them. In a way public opinion matters more to an authoritarian than an elected official because the prospect of an election is a release valve for frustrations.
America is very much undergoing that. Why aren't Americans revolting? because many of us have the expectation we can resolve this easily with votes.
Take that away and suddenly the choice is between suffer eternally or remove them some way besides electorally.
Its why people like Putin, a dictator, spend so much time money and effort on propaganda. If people's opinions did not matter he wouldn't. But authoritarians care a lot about propaganda. Because if people don't like what they are doing they will face revolution.

To be fair a sizeable chunk of the US electorate are revolting. They certainly revolt me.

>probably with favorable terms to Iran
People do not comprehend what this means and if they did they would understand why the war was such a stupid idea and why Trump can't TACO this time: Iran wants the USA to pull out of the middle east entirely.

It’s not entirely clear who the US has been trying to “negotiate” with, at this point. It’s possible that there are no meaningful negotiations taking place at all, that this is just the US and Israel trying to manufacture a pretext for dragging other countries into their war of choice, claiming Iran is unreasonable and needs to be treated as the aggressor in this war they did not start.
It also buys Israel more time to annex more of Lebanon while everyone is distracted, which was probably why Israel wanted to attack Iran in the first place.

‘Iran's foreign minister says the country is not currently negotiating with the US to end the war and "does not intend" to do so.’
‘Mabbas Araghchi's comments came as US President Donald Trump's press secretary said talks were "ongoing" and "productive". Araghchi said the US had been sending ideas via mediators - at one stage appearing to refer to a 15-point plan the US is reported to have passed to Iran.’

Who the f*** will negotiate a deranged Orange Felon who attacked them twice when they were on the table, who says one thing today and a completely different thing tomorrow?

Imagine you and your neighbor come to an agreement about how to deal with a tree that straddles your property line. And then that neighbor moves and the guy that moves into his house tells you he won't abide by that old agreement, shoots your dog and then tells you he wants to make a new deal that is identical to the agreement you had with the previous homeowner.

But only if you also give him some of your property, half your pay packet, and pay his water and electricity bills or he'll send some armed thugs over.

Yep. If they don't get long term concessions and Trump is given an "easy win" he will just keep bombing them every time he wants a headline.
What nation wants to exist as the punching bag every time America has elections?

>They have made Donald looked like a clown.
Donald Trump was always a performing clown as one act in the circus tent that is US Politics with the Billionaire ringmasters. The world has been watching in the seats at the show, but now as it involves audience participation, it's being revealed for the shitshow it's always been.
We'll walk out asking for refunds soon enough..
