Spent a month researching. The mattress industry markup is insane. Bought a bed in a box from a direct to consumer brand for $600 with a 100 night trial. It is genuinely one of the best purchases I have made. Sleep quality improved measurably. The $3,000 options at showrooms are mostly overhead.
