Is this the same sound or am i tripping? Skin by Mac Miller

Hi, So I'm supposed to be studying right now, but while listening to Skin by Mac Miller, there was a sound at around 2:34 that I couldn't get out of my mind, and its a motif that repeats throughout the song. It reminded me of a vine that I'd seen years ago, so I went back to the vine and found the original background song to listen to separately and see if the sounds matched up, and I think they did? I'll link all the things I'm talking about below, but I'd love if someone would let me know if they hear it too! I don't even know if this is the appropriate sublistnook to post this on, but I'm so curious. Maybe they use the same sample pack or something? Idk, its cool tho.
