Considering that he doesn’t talk so good in general…probably not.

My cynical theory: Trump isn't lying about talking to some "top people." He's talking to someone.
Only it's the Israelis, pretending to be Iranian counterparts. "Top Mossad agents," more like.
Allegedly, Trump regularly takes calls from randoms. He'll pick up the phone at 3am without checking the caller ID, just because he's bored and lonely. Who's to say the Israelis couldn't leverage that?
At the press gaggle yesterday on the tarmac outside Air Force One, Trump also said, "They called me, I didn't call them."

Considering he said he talked to a former president, who he claimed praised the war, but then later all living former presidents denied talking to him, I wouldn't be surprised.
He's a prime target for a phone call from "the Prince of Nigeria". I'm sure Dumph would help him get his money out of Africa with just a small set-up fee.

I hadn't even considered Trump was telling on himself. Although I did notice that he just implied that Joe Kent killed his wife in order to get a new wife which would be a strange thing for just about anyone else to say.

No.
Whats happening is that his team is trying to find some kind of solution to this clusterfuck while protecting their asses first.
And Trump is told buzzwords, empty answers like we are having good talks sir, the war is finished, great success.
Then he repeats it like it's truth or it has any meaning.
Cause he is senile. He barely grasp what's happening.

I don't think he understands that.
People in his inner circle are doing that and selling information to their friends

Market manipulation 100%. Where the hell did "48 hours" come from? Where did "five days" come from? Market openings and closings.

I mean sure, someone's probably doing that, but at this point believing Trump is capable of something so insidious and subtle is ignoring the reality of what's going on.

Of course not.
Three days ago, he implemented his Totally Victorious Defeat plan.
Make a big threat, pretend it forced them into talks, accept their totally made up concessions, declare victory and retreat.
Trump wants out and this is his plan.

Take a 20-sided die.
Roll 1-18: Trump is totally f****** lying.
Roll 19: There's a kernel of truth, but it's buried under lies and bragging.
Roll 20: Trump has told the truth, but it was totally unintended.

The best talks, some say the best they've ever heard. Everyone's telling me what a fantastic job I'm doing. They're all saying I was the only one who could do talks like this. Maybe that's why they want to put me on a gold coin. Can you imagine that? It's really amazing ....
