A week ago soldiers did a barbeque on a Saturday, they were imprisoned for 20 days, so lighting up a barbeque is literally more frowned upon than lighting innocent Palestinians on fire(also on a Saturday in some cases!) Even people who are critical of Israel have *no idea* how despicable that culture is as a whole, blaming bibi's government is literally a pro israel mechanism used by politicians to absolve the state as a whole when the people are in full support of the actions, but dislike bibi for the corruption

If a person is the victim you can rationalise/excuse it with that he was a bad person or a terrorist sympathiser or whatever. If a symbol (e.g. a statue) is attacked then the idea what it symbolises is attacked. There is little room for interpretation about such an act.
