Lebanon needs help to disarm Hezbollah so they can control their own country
They don't want Israel to do it but nobody else is stepping forward. Who else even could do it? Syria has plenty of motivation after the horrors Hezbollah inflicted on them but they lack any disciplined force to do it.
So the question is when or if Lebanon decides it hates Hezbollah and it's Iranian puppet masters more than it hates Israel.

Not too surprising, given that the Lebanese have been under a de facto Iranian/Hezbollah occupation for decades now. Now that Hezbollah (and Iran) have been severely weakened, the Lebanese finally feel emboldened enough to take a stand against them and boot them out of the country.
