Yep, not to mention that the whole Trump family is corrupt.

I was going to say this, there is no question, there hasn't been since he started crashing the market then letting it recover then doing it all again. And now they have been caught red handed and are trying to brush it off as rumor. Margery Taylor Greene did it, she went from a net worth of 600.000 to 21 million in one month. Everyone knows they are just to chicken to do anything about it.

He pulled up the Epstein Files. On his computer. I’m on the front page, great picture. Hatchet job of reporting though, terrible people wrote it, not true. And he just hit a button, poof, gone. Now they never happened. Good Genes, Good Computers. Never met the guy. And we won Iran, they don’t talk enough about the boats. The Big Boats. They cruise the waves. And sharks too. Biden never talked about the Sharks on the Waves.

Wars are generally fought for profiteering purposes.
There’s a reason republicans are well known for and expected to instigate wars of choice in the Middle East.

From the column:
*President Donald Trump’s announcement that he was in* [*“productive” peace talks with Iran*](https://www.ms.now/news/trump-iran-talks-war-five-days-strikes) *on Monday morning was a surprise. But an unusual burst in trading activity just 15 minutes before his announcement has raised questions about whether people with access to inside information about the announcement attempted to illegally profit from it.*
*Trump’s announcement immediately pushed the price of oil down, because it signaled that his war on Iran might be coming to an end sooner rather than later. That would potentially free up the roughly 20% of the global oil supply that has largely remained stuck in the Persian Gulf due to* [*Iran’s stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz*](https://www.ms.now/opinion/trump-iran-strait-hormuz-nato-allies-germany-china)*. Traders who bet on the unexpected Trump news* [*positioned themselves*](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-03-24/iran-strikes-persist-even-as-trump-claims-talks-to-end-conflict) *to make money from the price of oil dropping.*

This entire regime is corrupt and lawless. He's spent his entire life breaking the law and the one time he was about to face consequences for it, you MAGA voter idiots got him off. Just as he wanted.

Even if there’s no direct proof of insider trading, the fact that markets keep moving right before major announcements is a massive trust problem. At some point it stops looking like coincidence.

The window of opportunity is small. The timing is narrow. And, the evidence will be found. Follow the money. Who got rich? Who did they communicate with? How do those communications link back to the white house inner circle? Who will cooperate to avoid prosecution? There are plenty of guilty parties. They all know who they are. They may think they’re safe now. Maybe for some that will be true. But not for all. A day will come, and examples will be made. Until then sleep well if you can.

help me out, I'm confused. if someone bought a bunch of oil futures just before Trump's announcement that sent the price of oil plunging, then didn't they \*lose\* money on the deal? i guess whoever sold benefitted, but you can't use insider trading to make someone else buy it, you can only offer it up for sale. or is the allegation that somone in the know was moving money around in an illegal way?

Maybe Trump just needs to not telegraph his actions. Maybe one of his cronies may decide to donate half of their illegal proceeds to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter.
