Nah , I expect they will pay them if they do the job satisfactorily . Remains to be seen if they will let them stay , vote or become Japanese citizens for soft power marbles .

I think Japan will go the Qatar/UAE route and have a big temporary worker population that may exceed the native Japanese population and will never be granted citizenship. It addresses labor shortages while preserving the genetic/cultural "purity" that Japan wants.

Genetic purity sounds so funny to me. What exactly is genetically pure about Japanese people? They’re literally an amalgamation of Chinese, Korean and native Ryukun, Jomon and Ainu peoples.

Nah they won't, Japan isn't as oppresive as gulf states and the new gen doesn't give a flying f*** about "genetic/cultural purity", with time, they'll ease their laws about foreigner. Also, any child between a japanese and a foreigner will be defacto japanese, that's not the case in many gulf states.
