Pretty sure it's mainly racism, trying to draw attention to the fact Davy Crockett was white. He's made posts before asking if they were related but it was more obvious he was attacking her. His brain is mush at this stage.

(From the article): "Representative Jasmine Crockett responded Thursday after President Donald Trump posted a cryptic message on Truth Social invoking the 19th century folk hero Davy Crockett, with the Texas Democrat suggesting the president’s fixation on her may be connected to her sharp questioning of former Attorney General Pam Bondi.
In a post on X, Crockett wrote that Trump was “clearly already missing me as many others will,” adding that she remains in Congress until January and has “no plans of taking my foot off the gas on behalf of the American people.” She then posed a pointed question: “I wonder if this has anything to do with my questioning of Pam Bondi????!!!”
Her response came shortly after Trump shared a post that left many observers confused, even as some supporters interpreted it as sarcasm or trolling aimed at the outspoken Democrat.
Newsweek reached out to the White House for comment on Thursday.
Trump’s decision to single out Crockett publicly—on the same day he removed his attorney general—highlights how policy disputes and personal antagonisms now frequently collide, with social media serving as a direct extension of political combat.
Trump’s Truth Social post read: “Davy Crockett, obviously a distant relative of Jasmine Crockett, and a very High IQ Frontiersman, would be proud of the legacy that he began long ago, and especially Jasmine’s Great Success as a Politician from the Great State of Texas!”
The post included a video featuring actor Fess Parker, who portrayed the frontiersman in Disney’s television miniseries and the 1955 film Davy Crockett: King of the Wild Frontier. Parker’s portrayal helped cement Davy Crockett as a mid‑20th century pop‑culture icon.
Trump has referenced Davy Crockett before while criticizing the congresswoman. In August, he questioned whether Jasmine Crockett was related to the frontiersman while attacking her intelligence and political standing.
Crockett tied the post back to her role in congressional oversight. In February, she was among the most forceful Democrats questioning Bondi during a House Judiciary Committee hearing focused on the Justice Department’s handling of files related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. During that hearing, Crockett accused Bondi of prioritizing loyalty to Trump over transparency and said that Bondi would be remembered as “one of the worst attorneys general in history.”
Crockett is nearing the end of her time in Congress. She recently lost the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate in Texas to state Representative James Talarico. Because she had already given up her House reelection bid to run for Senate, that loss means she no longer has a seat in Congress after her current term ends in January. Crockett has not announced any plans for after she leaves Congress and has said she intends to remain focused on her legislative work through the end of her term.
The White House has not responded to Crockett’s suggestion that her questioning of Bondi had anything to do with Trump’s social media post. Crockett has indicated she plans to continue pressing the administration during her remaining months in office, suggesting that clashes with Trump—and his pointed responses—are likely to continue."

See this is the thing. Way back in 2015, I never really gave a shit about his disregard for political correctness. Sure, sometimes some things were way past the line, and whether you are president or just some jackass on social media words can have real world effects. But still, that wasn't the point. The point was incompetence and disregard for laws. And that is still the point. And that is still the thing that most people totally ignore while getting whiplash from the day to day back and forth nonsense of whatever bullshit comes out of his thumbs or mouth.
And this is part of the reason why. Narcissists (usually) don't actually want bad things to happen to the people they shit talk. They don't (usually) actually think those people are worthless, or stupid, or whatever. They don't actually believe in anything, or have any real opinions whatsoever. They just say whatever they think will get a good reaction. And the majority have been giving great reactions for over a decade.

Trumps insults are about the same as a 3rd graders... There is no thought to them just the lowest possible fruit is picked. Trumps Brain thought process- "Crockett, I heard and saw a Davy Crockett as a kid? He was a King of the Wild Frontier? Jasmine is kinda wild, so I will use him to insult her. Yeah that will work cause it's funny and I have to poop and my happy meal better have cheese on the burger mom or I'm gonna scream."

It's more racism, this is from 2025. He's decided the white man called Crockett is great, but Jasmine Crockett is Low IQ. “I mean, when you have low-IQ people, like Crockett,” Trump began before suddenly going on a tangent. I wonder if she’s any relationship to the late, great Davy Crockett, who was a great, great gentleman...I wonder if she’s got any relationship to Davy Crockett. The great old Davy Crockett,” Trump pondered.''

It's the kind of joke a hillbilly who works the night shift at a convenience store would snort at. Ya hear that, Skeeter? Trump made a fun-fun. Ga-hawrp! French fried taters. Hoarders. Duck Dynasty. Moonshine & Banjo music. Stockpiles of AR-15s. Stacks of Bibles. Winning, as far as the eye can see.
