Does this administration have anyone qualified for any position they are in, or is it all just drunks and morons.

Not_Legal_Advice_Pod 4 days ago +80
Since their job is to set the constitution and economy on fire and then have a pissing contest to see if they can put it out, he picked the perfect team for the job. Really, consider if the objective was to destroy America, would you pick anyone differently from who he did?

Not even qualified to be bench warmers.

The guy wearing oversized shoes. That doesn't exactly come off as competent.

Reminds me of the subjects in the Queen of Hearts court who fake their appearances as to not draw her ire.
10
joper90 4 days ago +5
Which is concerning he don’t think to order the same shoes at the right size, as Trump would never notice.
5
jaquesparblue 4 days ago +5
Competent people already ran away or were fired because they dared to utter "this isn't how any of this works"
5
Nights_Harvest 4 days ago +5
The thing people fail to realise, still... This is not incompetence, those are deliberate actions by the USA gov.
5
Palomino_mare 4 days ago +1
Something can be deliberate and still be moronic.
1
Nights_Harvest 4 days ago +2
Is it tho? If you look at it as a whole, it looks like deliberate actions that always benefit specific people, industry or people while shafting everyone else. Seeing this as stupidity takes away from deliberate and calculated all of this is. It serves their bottom line, they do not care about anyone else's.
2
Palomino_mare 3 days ago +1
The destruction of USAID was evil. The dismantling of major parts of the government was stupid, as they are now scrambling to put them back together again. I know why Trump gave Musk that power, it was so Musk would provide money to bribe people, but still. Then he was OK with someone punching Musk in the face. He didn’t have to let Musk go as far as he did. Trump seems unable to think of 2 things at once, make connections, or even string together a coherent sentence. Stupidity and dementia wrapped in one evil hideous package that a bunch of other greedy people and morons voted for. Just look at the mess he’s made with the war with Iraq. He’s manipulating markets yes (although likely someone else is actually controlling that), but I don’t think it ever occurred to that fool that Iran would close down the Strait of Hormuz. Reportedly he completely lost his shit when those 2 airmen were shot down over Iran, apparently afraid that possibly losing 2 men would turn the tide against him. Doesn’t sound like some mastermind to me. More like a greedy cartoon evil that unfortunately is real life.

Iran sends a dozen PhDs who know the technical details of the nuclear program and petroleum trade so that they understand exactly what they are pursuing and agreeing to. Same as Obama did with the JCPOA. That's what you do when you are serious. But Trump sends the VP and, like, real estate developers. If you're a serious country the high ranking person like Vance is for putting his signature on the deal when it is complete, not for hashing out the details. Because he doesn't have the knowledge or expertise to know precisely what the f*** he is giving up or getting. But in a cult of personality like the Trump administration, expertise isn't trusted. So you get incompetent loyalists sent to do the job of experts.
9
Front_River7314 4 days ago +3
well it's not "doing a few real estate deals" (witkof) or just "begin family of the president" (kushner) . go figure

JD No Chance Vance is being sent to negotiate a deal without the authority to make any concessions. The deal is dead on arrival. It's just a big show to manipulate the markets.
61
DirectionMurky5526 4 days ago +14
A speculation I saw from Chinese netizens is that they don't trust Trump to uphold any deal, only Vance, so they're going to convince Vance to overthrow Trump.
14
Bored2001 4 days ago +10
No conspiracy is needed. Donny will likely die before the end of the term and JD Vance will be in charge.
10
The_Frostweaver 4 days ago +7
A wealthy 80 year old man has a life expectancy of 7-10 years. Some of those may be very shitty years with dementia and multiple other health issues, but the chances of Trump actually dying in the next 3 years are low. The odds of a major stroke are under 1% per year. And I think it would take something like that for Trump to resign. I don't think he would walk away from the presidency easily. Just look at mitch mcconnel, he is 84, his health is not good (falls, freezing mid speech) but he isn't dead. He was still leading the senate at 82. That will be Trump. Visibly failing health but still "leading" at 82.
7
Bored2001 4 days ago +4
Relatively healthy ones maybe, but Trump is a fat b****** and obesity significantly reduces your life expectancy.
4

His death solves a lot of problems for the technogarchs. Justifies the planned ground invasion, kills 25th amendment talk, really around the flag effect of vp death would be real, and he's the obvious successor and has negative charisma... honestly surprised they didn't do a false flag the first time around.
