Show me the money is obviously the iconic one.... but the film is so insanely effortlessly quotable despite that. I quote the most random shit from it.
Not sure that's enough to drag me to a cinema for it though when the 4K release is immense.

Cameron Crowe's run from 1996 to 2001 with Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous and Vanilla Sky is top-tier. I love all three of those films, with Almost Famous being particularly special to me.
Maguire was shot by Janusz Kaminski, Spielberg's go-to DP, and this era (1993 - 2007) , in my opinion, saw him at the peak of his powers. Incredible cinematography.

He did, but that was an unrelated hunting accident. Tobey is fine. He’s going to be fine.

Every time someone says this it makes me wonder if they've actually watched Shine. Geoffrey Rush is incredible in that film, and it's so much more than just "going full r-word", like people say. Amazing movie about the power of music. Cruise is great at what he does, but it's no comparison.

Peak Cruise, for me, is when he goes full cartoon-mode. The scene in the locker room where he’s flailing his limbs around while yelling ‘FINE! FINE FINE FINE!’ is 10/10

haha, yes! His meltdown when he stops the car in Rain Man is 10/10 as well. Someone mentioned in the comments below that he sounds like Kermit the Frog when he starts yelling, and now I can’t unhear it 😂

I just watched this for the first time a few nights ago. I’d always heard this referenced but had no idea the scene also had him screaming “I LOVE BLACK PEOPLE. I LOVE BLACK MEN.” right after saying just a few minutes before “I am Mr. Black People.”
Really hope those quotes get the second life they deserved in ‘96

My journalism advisor always plays the “show me the money” clip whenever she goes over how to cover public meetings. She always emphasizes to look into how much things are costing our college.

Fun fact: Aimee Mann’s song “Wise Up” that was famously used in Magnolia was originally written for this movie. Director Cameron Crowe decided not to use it and PTA got to instead. Coincidentally, Tom Cruise stars in both movies.

Say whatever you want about his personal life but Cruise is one of the best actors out there and an all time great in cinema.
As much as I loved the Mission Impossible series I am hoping that he can get back to some character driven movies again over summer blockbusters
If we could get him as a villain like Collateral again that would be amazing

uh.. to milk the cow. it happens for a lot of movies that were iconic or amazing. I went to see Interstellar for the 1st time last year on IMAX.. was totally worth it. Also, some other ones were like Back to the Future, Pride and Prejudice 2005, Titanic, etc. There are enough fans out there willing to hit the theatres for certain movies. Although, Jerry Maguire isn't "as" amazing as some of the other movies, but probably deserves a short viewing for h******* fans.
