I celebrated taco Tuesday by making ground beef tacos with corn tortillas and guacamole. Made the ground beef extra delicious with garlic, Tajín, paprika, cumin, black pepper, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, peppers, onions and chile ancho. Served it with sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes.
It was the best Taco Tuesday to celebrate the non-destruction of another country ever.

I get it, stand up to Trump and he backs down like all bullies do, but in this case perhaps not killing an entire civilization as promised was a good thing. He should face consequences just for the insane threat.

Agreed.
The consequences must match the rhetoric.
What must we do with those in power, who threaten atrocities?
The same thing we do with those who commit them.

The parallels between reality and The Lego®️ Movie are uncanny. Lord Business threatening to unleash the Kragl on Taco Tuesday? A little too close for comfort.

It's raining tacos
From out of the sky
Tacos
No need to ask why
Just open your mouth
And close your eyes
IT'S RAINING TACOS

I am not saying this to be an apologist, but antagonizing Trump for not going through with something insane does not seem wise. Better to underscore how batshit the proposal was from the start.

I don’t even *know* what the correct move is here. Well, the correct move would be to immediately remove him from office and throw him in prison, but we all know that ain’t gonna happen.

Consider that you even have to realistically worry that a world leader will be goaded into violence, possibly with nuclear weapons, because someone on the internet teased him.

If you're gonna threaten genocide, yeah, I think you deserve to be called a little b**** and get your face rubbed in it. He's not gonna do shit but b**** and moan, he never does.

Yeah, I agree. Fine for nobodies like us, but for someone with a platform like Kimmel, it seems pretty cavalier when innocent lives are at stake.

I agree and, quite frankly, cannot understand how anyone could reasonably disagree. Who the f*** sees an erratic, ultra-thin-skinned psychopath climb down from genocide and immediately responds with "I knew you'd be too much of a chicken to go through with it." Yet again, Kimmel shows this stuff is all just a game for people like him. Maybe at least wait until there have been some actual limits placed on Trump's power.

Think of him like an abusive spouse. A response to abuse is "oh I better not do anything to upset him or else he'll fly off the handle". But he's crazy whether anyone says anything or not. Best not to alter reality and our actions to appease an insane abusive rapist with dementia. That's not the way forward either.

28th amendment needs to be a “DID I STUTTER” addition to clarify what unfit means after being shot in the literal head.

I'm all for calling out this mad man for his crimes but let's not bully him into dropping nukes. Remember he ran for president just because a black man ribbed him gently in a public forum.

So not "chickening out" would have meant Trump followed through.
There's no alternative to that.
He sounds just as insane as he claims Trump is.

He's not criticizing Trump for chickening out, he's making fun of Trump for chickening out. Perhaps you haven't noticed but Trump is a habitual chicken-outer. This is one of the rare instances where his habit has actually resulted in something good--Iran is not destroyed and Trump continues to look like a fool for the insane amount of 180s he's doing in this war

Late night TV is basically a real life version of the Family Guy episode where Lois runs for office by saying 9/11 different ways.
Trump is a piece of shit but this kind of "resistance" is obnoxious.
