He isn’t disabled, he has just never once ever had to do anything ever, not even a small thing. He didn’t know what groceries are until it became a campaign issue and people started writing it into his speeches, and even then he assumed it was some weird quirk of his writers, like they are the weird ones for using the word. He has never learned how to do anything—not how to drive, not how to cook, not how to do taxes, not how to set up an email account, or how to do laundry. He just doesn’t know anything.

This type of show makes fun of current events. Trump dominates current events with his constant flailing about, threatening allies, leading the country into war, etc... so he gets brought up often. Things happened before Trump that provided comedy material. Unless Trump really, really fucks up, things will happen after Trump that provide comedy material.

I can't believe I have to spell it out even more clearly than I previously did, but okay: Jimmy Kimmel had a successful talk show before Trump got elected. The talk show changed after the election. When Trump goes away, it will change again. The dude is a comedian with a team of writers, and it's a talk show. It's not like it's rocket science, and it's not like Trump is critical to making any of it happen.
