I’ve always felt Jimmy would be more enjoyable if he left the hosting gig and leaned into his musical performances. I was rewatching his Paul Rudd music videos awhile back and got a kick out of them. Plus I can’t think of anyone that leans into the fun of musical performances like he does. Gordon did, but his general unpleasantness over shadowed the music.

I have seen a couple of clips of stuff like this. But what i noticed is that the usually relaxed and cheerfull Jimmy Fallon has a real sort of fierceness or hatred in his eyes while doing these bits. I dont think it's a comedic bit.
Shame, I thought Jimmy was quite a fun, friendly , innocent host. His impressions and stuff with SNL was pretty good as well. So it is weird to see this fire in his eyes.
Seriously rewatch it and focus on his eyes. It's frightening.
