I mean, for Rogan, this is kind of a stroke of genius

Not really. He's just back peddling now that he realizes the tide is turning against Trump and his enablers. Most of the other podcast bros that supported Trump started doing the same thing months ago.

With Trumps latest tweets, and Melania coming out to address her relationship with JE and GM, I feel they all know something is coming out. Rogan is just trying to put it out there so he can get the “I told you so” vibes when it does and all his listeners will slow clap.

Man, as long as people are realizing it freaking great. We should be celebrating that people are beginning to see what we have known all along.
I know it's a bunch of assholes coming around to the truth, but if we have any hope of shutting down maga or getting Trump out of office to face any legal consequences, we need as many people on our side, particularly those who can speak to the conservatives

That’s exactly my sentiments, for the most part.
The first time to correct your mistake was in 2020. I’ll absolutely understand if someone voted for him in 2016, because the alternative was someone who— while imminently qualified —had an absolute metric ton of justifiably concerning baggage. The options were shit for candidates. 2020 was when people **should** have realized that Trump is delusional and psychotic.
The second time is precisely now, and if what it takes for someone to realize that fact is personal strife and discomfort, fine. I accept that psychology. There’s plenty of voters out there who only really care about what immediately goes on in their world, and if that immediate world around them is going to shit for them to recognize it, I’ll take it.
One problem at a time. A purity test of “well where were you then” is just antagonistic and doesn’t get anyone anywhere, and just galvanizes someone into resisting a truth.

They can come on over to our side any time they want. There is no requirement for us to welcome them or coddle them. They can issue a mea culpa (they never do) and help out or they can f*** off and die for all I care. I'd prefer the latter option because their allegiance cannot be trusted. They have proven themselves to be snakes long ago.

No f****** shit. It works too, I had a conversation with my dad after posting trumps genocide post on our family gc and got kicked within a literal minute. My dad said and I quote “they should’ve opened the strait”. He works at a steel mill…..I don’t think he understands how heavily his career rides on global trade. My father is less than five years from retirement and does not give af because he doesn’t give a shit enough to watch any news outside of mainstream Fox. I’m not saying people like my dad are dumb.
The only person in my family who is outspokenly against all of this along side me is the one who has seen combat areas, and is being called overseas because of this dumbass “military operation” after sending trumps post he said “I wish you all had to see the briefings they are showing us”. Civilians literally cannot fathom what it’s like to be in these war zones, they see it every day on tv, yet feel nothing aside from, “they should’ve opened the strait.”

I’m going to make a wild guess, but imo, a very plausible one.
1. Trump was propped up by Russia’s propaganda machine. Which means election interference, paid off MAGA influencers, politicians, blackmail, honey traps and etc.
2. Trump with the rise of his cult got greedy and in a fit of self-grandiose decided to go independent and attack Russia’s ally Iran.
3. Putin didn’t like that because it’s indirectly interfering with his plans for Ukraine. Yet he doesn’t want a direct conflict with USA which would be worse. Thus a more subtle approach of tilting the propaganda machine against Trump.
That’s why we see h******* MAGAs suddenly popping up and turning against Trump on Iran war, and only Iran war.

I was thinking the other day that Trump and advisors probably figured the mid terms were over for the Republicans, and Trump is on his final term barring some (more) insanity. So seeing as he's already screwed for the rest of his term they decided f*** it and are doing all the most monstrous things they can do to squeeze a little more profit out of the corrupt presidency before its too late. Because the average American may not be happy about the gas prices but im sure American oil execs are loving it.
