John Barron!  Been a while since we’ve heard from him.

He actually called into a show a few weeks ago after a long time away. Consensus was it was an imitator though. https://www.reddit.com/r/entertainment/comments/1rcx8ec/did_trump_really_call_cspan_posing_as_john_barron/

Watch the [video here](https://youtu.be/a2aYd-XHzsI?si=jl4YoEg0i3MPP-uV). From the article: Jon Stewart roasted Trump’s conflicting messages about the Iran war by using the president’s own words against him. During Monday’s episode of *The Daily Show* the comedian assembled an “expert panel” which was made up of different sound bites from Trump, to address the ongoing questions about his Iran war. “Well, if you can’t trust the fake news media and we’ve got so many unanswered questions about the reasons for the war … who can we turn to for clarity to give it to us straight?” Stewart asked before cutting to footage of Trump staffers Karoline Leavitt, Pete Hegseth and others praising the president as “the best communicator.” Stewart then introduced his panel made up of “President Donald Trump, Donald J. Trump, DJT and John Barron,” noting the foursome was meant to “explain what the war is actually about in a lucid and clear cut way.” Of course, Stewart and “The Daily Show” instead highlighted how the president has yet to maintain the same messaging since the war launched last month.

Stuff like this creates plausible deniability and the illusion of "always being right". If his supporters can always point to *a* clip that supports whatever conclusion, he's never wrong. If you point out that he's said other things, it's dismissed as "joking", "not feeding the biased media", "playing chess" or whatever.

They’re always right, and moving righter every day, they sure aren’t going left.

We have got to find a way as a nation to retake the wheel and get rid of him and his administration and then punish them. It’s clear they will say or do anything they want, regardless of whether it’s true or legal, and their supporters will eat it up like pigs eat slop. Truth doesn’t matter. Ethics don’t matter. Legality doesn’t matter. None of it matters. We must take our country back. We are living through insanity right now.

And I don’t think he does it on purpose half the time. I think he learned that he could just play dumb & flip flop when he has a spell, and he calculated that it’s to his advantage. But he really does just ham-fist his way through a lot of this hypocrisy, largely because he doesn’t seem to remember what he says.

He’s actually stupid, like really stupid, and just regurgitates (charismatically, to some) whatever / whoever was in his ear last. He probably feels like he is running on a knifes edge, when in reality, half the population sees through him, and part of the other half won’t ever change their views.

Just look at the speech he gave at the Kennedy center board meeting yesterday, you don’t even need to string together clips from different events the guys contradicting himself in the same breath.

This segment would never be shown on fox “entertainment news” in full. Never. It would not be entertaining to the cult.

We have to watch a comedy program to get the truth.

I don't understand how this isn't a weekly bit on SNL. Have the actors lipsync the ridiculous bullshit stated by the admin, set to backgrounds, situations, and costumes that highlight the baffoonery of what they are saying. The script literally writes itself over and over again. Trump making himself look dumb is infinitely funnier than when anyone else imitates him.

I appreciate John Stewarts work on the Daily Show but he's the same person who tried to act like Biden wasnt losing mental capacity until the elction was lost when it didnt matter and everyone decide to then be honest

He points out Biden's cognitive problems all the time, even during Biden's Presidency. Even during Biden's second run.

I wonder when if ever Trump lost his mental capacity. It seems to me like he never had any to lose.

Initial-Lead-2814 Mar 18, 2026 +1
I don't know if you thought that would bother me but it didn't, he's not long for Biden himself. Both were shrewed enough to get where they got, nothing lasts forever though.

Teamfightacticous Mar 18, 2026 +2
I’d never call Donald Trump shrewd that’s definitely a choice.

He got away with f****** people

Teamfightacticous Mar 18, 2026 +1
Yeah because daddy gave him money and in the US that means accountability is scarce. Doesn’t make him shrewd or smart, just makes him an unrepentant fraudster.
