Exactly. Trump is the closest thing the US has to what Lavrentiy Beria was to the USSR. A real life monster that destroyed everything to those that crossed him and violated children. Trump is currently trying to whitewash his legacy by plastering his name on as many public moments, buildings, future monuments and as of 04/01/2026, Palm Beach Airport. The US needs to fail before it gets better. We need to suffer for what we’ve unleashed on the world and that will be when the masses will get serious about protesting and trying to get this a****** and all of his cronies out of public office. Buckle up.

Jon Stewart’s assessment of Trump’s “state of mind” is spot on. He has got the tapes. Mainstream is cowardice to show Trump in his truly demented stated. Sharpie be damned.

Jon Stewart then followed that joke with 8 more about Joe Biden being old. He's as much of the problem as anyone.

You should read conservative comments on twitter and threads, they go straight for mean and violence comments as soon as someone states a fact they don’t like.

Yes, we know. He's insane. We've known for years and we've been saying it for years.

He's just dumb and evil. His entire life proves this.

WOW WHAT A ZINGER, SOMEONE GET THIS GUY A MILLION DOLLARS AND A DESK AND A NICE CHAIR. Before I thought a reckless tyrant was attempting to devour as much as they can before tipping the world into ruin but turns out, just a silly lil guy who needs a nap. Just a funny lil chubby baby who needs a lil nap. We are saved because it's all a joke. Thank you.

The real problem isn’t just one person’s take, it’s whether the public is getting the full picture. If there are recordings or clear examples that add context, they should be aired and analyzed honestly. People can handle nuance, but they need access to it first.

>People can handle nuance Like, American human Earth people? Those people? Are you sure you meant *them*? That’s gotta be a typo.

I’m willing to believe this is legit, what more is there to say? Trump is a barely functional criminal and Jon does a good job at breaking it down in an emotional, informative and funny way. Same story every week since Trump got back in, just more dire each week.

Everything gets botted to some extent on big subs, even good posts. There's just a lot of bots lol.

Not much to add. It’s the truth.

Why would he say that? He's always been unfiltered and stupid. Nothing has changed.

Who would have thought that the Enhancement Smoker from Half Baked and the Professor from Greendale Community College would end up being some of the most sane voices making sense of all this stuff that would make a sober person feel high trying to comprehend. There’s a dude in the bushes! Has he got a gun?! I DUNNO! RED TEAM GO! RED TEAM GO!

I used to be able to watch Stewart when things weren't too serious to laugh at, but now it just feels trashy. We don't need a standup routine, we need someone who can do action.

I feel Jon puts his heart into it, and importantly he shows clip after clip of Trump being Trump - not just summarising but demonstrating. You can see he's not just there for the yuks, but hoping that a few undecided or wavering MAGA voters get wind of the stuff and change their mind, and that the Democrats gets shamed into making more of a defence.

Its not funny. Thats the point. But he and John Oliver are trying to inform the people who are ignorant. Its not an easy task.

I don’t care for any of this

This is the problem doing comedy under Trump. The jokes are obvious and barely qualify as jokes but if you tried to talk about something else people would be like why aren't you attacking Trump
