This note is, quite frankly, a complete exoneration, people are saying it's possibly the greatest exoneration. I Jeffery Epstien, who was only seen a couple of times with the greatest president of all time. I Jeffery Epstien who definitely was the literal person who wrote this letter wants everyone to know before I kill myself because that's definitely what's gonna happen. Donald? Barely knew him. Really? The apprentice guy? I only heard of his wonderful golf skills and fantastic flair for interior decoration. He didn't do anything, and he has no reason whatsoever to have me killed. I'm sad and it's time to die now. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

“Epstein was discovered by his cellmate, a former New York City police officer named Nicholas Tartaglione. Immediately after the incident, Epstein said he was attacked by Tartaglione but later told investigators he did not know what occurred and did not want to talk about how he had sustained injuries, according to a report from the Department of Justice’s office of inspector general.”

Bruh wtf is that quote? It says Epstein was found by his cellmate and then immediately after the incident he said he was attacked by Tartaglione? I'm not understanding how that makes sense if Epstein was already dead
77
Snake973 4 days ago +84
it's not about when epstein died, there was a previous suicide attempt about two weeks before he actually died where epstein was discovered before he could actually expire, that's the event the quote is about and when this recently released note is from
84
Pure_Incident2807 4 days ago +34
Must have been weird for Epstein who seems to have been very close to Trump and committed all the crimes together.. and hes sitting there in prison while his buddy is the MF POTUS.
34
LuminousSnow 4 days ago +13
Isn't that precisely the point? It's gonna be infinitely harder even by MAGA standards, for Trump to disassociate from Epstein and all those 'alleged' links to a pedophile and rapist if he directly intervened to pull Epstein out.

I think many powerful and wealthy people are functionally illiterate, which is why they always want to do things in person and on calls, instead of type more than a few sentences. Also, it's hard to shout at people in an email.
249
boxdkittens 4 days ago +196
They always want to do things in person or via calls because that way there is no written record of what they said. It's not because they're illiterate, its because they do and say sketchy, illegal, or immoral shit.

> They always want to do things in person or via calls because that way there is no written record of what they said. It's not because they're illiterate, its because they do and say sketchy, illegal, or immoral shit. One of the nice parts about living in a one-party consent state with regards to recording conversations. I record every business call I'm on, and don't have to tell anyone a damn thing for it to be legally admissible. It's saved my ass multiple times over the years -- amazing how someone's tone changes when you inform them you have a recording of them directly contradicting what they're saying now with a specific time and date stamp.
12
esocharis 4 days ago +3
I had a supervisor role in first party collections for AMEX for a long time(I was the guy that took the "I want to talk to your boss, NOW!" calls) *At least* once a day I would have a customer swear up and down to me that one of my reps said something asinine to them. Every time, my response would be something along the lines of "Oh wow, I can't believe they talked to you like that and/or gave you clearly false information, let me go back to the call and take a listen so I can provide the proper feedback or discipline." 9 times out of 10 you could you could just feel the "oh shit" vibes coming off of them from hundreds or thousands of miles away, even over the phone. They were almost always straight up lying, and the rep had gone above and beyond trying to cater to this a******. The entitlement runs STRONG with these people, and, I won't lie, telling someone that not only was the rep extremely cordial and truthful to you, YOUR behavior towards them was unacceptable, felt really f****** good. On very rare occasions we could actually cancel someone's account if they had a history of being abusive to our reps. There were absolutely times I had to call out some knucklehead rep for being a jackass to someone on the phone, but those times were honestly extremely rare. Talking shit to a customer, no matter how awful they were to you, was the quickest way to get walked out the door. Reps making honest mistakes happens, for sure. But I could make that right most of the time with a few fee waivers and some ass kissing.....once most people felt justified that they were in the right, the hostility and attitude disappears pretty quick.

Inheritance is a crazy thing.  I worked on some estate taxes in accounting, they have lawyers to help too, but I was SHOCKED how many of these people truly believe they are smart because they got daddy's money. Not just lucky or entitled , but they suddenly believe they are smarter and better at decision-making because of a windfall they had no part it.

No, it’s from decades of dictating to an assistant. If you haven’t wrote a formal sentence in decades, you’re going to have some pretty shit grammar.
36
ToiIetGhost 4 days ago +11
Maybe he had shit grammar before he had an assistant too. He managed to hack it for a year at Cooper Union befire he flunked out; he taught at Dalton because he and the Headmaster (who had ties to government) were buddies; he got the job at Bear Stearns by falsifying his entire CV, from Ivy League schools to Wall Street experience. He climbed due to his charm, connections, and lies. I think we tend to overestimate the intelligence of rich people, as if you have to be smart to be wealthy

I dated a guy who became a very successful attorney. He was a gifted law student and incredibly sharp and bright. I used to have to read his texts out loud because that's how badly I couldn't understand his messages. We're still friends, 20 years later, he's still the smartest person I know and his texts remain a cacophony of short hand, slang, abbreviations and typos.

Three weeks later, the bar closed for renovations.” And then “In late 2019, [Tartaglione] filed an official request to obtain the surveillance footage from [the night of Epstein’s death], but was told it had been erased due to a ‘data entry error’." Is f****** ironic

And add the fact that the rules prohibited a single prisoner in a cell. Harder to suicide yourself when there is a cell mate.
39
spleeble 4 days ago +44
Tartaglione was Epstein's cellmate until Epstein was found unconscious with strangulation injuries on July 23, less than three weeks before he died.  Whether or not he completed the assignment, Tartaglione certainly fits the profile of someone who might be hired to commit a prison murder. And he has made a point of popping up in the news recently as if to remind people of his existence.  It sure seems like he wants someone to be worried about what he knows.
44
tinywienergang 4 days ago +16
Which is legitimately a stupid idea. If he’s trying to threaten people, he’s threatening people that will silence him knowing full well they’ll never have to answer for it.
16
spleeble 4 days ago +2
It may or may not be a stupid plan, I don't know. But he doesn't have a lot to lose and he may have planned for the possibility that they kill him.  Either way, it does seem like he's trying get just enough attention every few months to remind people that he exists. The weird timing of this "suicide note" story fits with that motivation.

Lmao this is a sad attempt even for the Trump administration They had him murdered. The lied about the footage, they hid the warden, the released doctored footage years later, and they drafted his death announcement the day beforehand They think another fake note obviously dictated by Trump will help their case? How about everyone refusing to uphold federal law is imprisoned in Quantico until everyone involved is in prison and all the files are released
242
uselessandexpensive 3 days ago +8
Oddly, an obviously fake suicide note is comforting in that if they'd used a body double or otherwise snuck JE out, they would have had him write a note himself as "proof" he killed himself. The appearance of this is effectively evidence that he's actually dead.

No expert but look at the “t” on the first note, most of them have a curve up on the left (I only noted 1 T without it on the word “to”) Then I can’t see a single T with a curve up on the left on this “suicide note”.

13
welcometosilentchill 4 days ago +10
Idk the thing that stands out to me is the underlined text and all caps writing. Those are all very common with Trump’s handwriting. Though I don’t think Trump would forge a note himself — just have someone else do it and probably someone who would be dumb enough to copy it verbatim. It’s also really hard to compare someone’s composed writing vs a hastily scrawled suicide note, you would expect there to be differences especially if they are in a state of panic or elevated mood. The writing is very strange though, one way or another.
10
Gecko99 4 days ago +2
That note, creepy as it is, looks like it was written with a nice fountain pen and he took the time to write neatly. The suicide note, I'm assuming, was written hastily with some prison pen. The Bob Barker company sells 4-inch flexible pens so he probably had something like that.

His cellmate was an NYPD cop, who attacked Epstein after a failed attempt to strangle himself. Two weeks before his death. Makes a lot of sense.

I can't read it all but it sounds like something trump would dictate. "They investigated me for a month -- Found Nothing!!!" "No fun -- Not worth it!! F***, is this AI but in bad handwriting?

And they can't even keep the story straight. I've seen it reported that it was found both before *and* after his first "suicide attempt" that was really his cellmate trying to murder him, probably on Trump's orders.

OF COURSE IT WAS! And the rest of the note reads "And Donald Trump is the bigliest political victim ever like no one has ever seen before and he needs a ballroom and 45 more terms as President. He did not have me killed. And he is not a pedophile! Thank you for your attention to this matter"
