Hell yeah. Now order him to restore the rest of the white house back to the way it was using his own money.

Or at least his executive branch budget. From and accounting standpoint, I honestly don’t understand how he’s allowed to spend money that hasn’t been allocated or he doesn’t have. Edit: if we can keep his spending to the budget, and he can’t spend more than he’s been allocated, I think a lot of damage gets mitigated.

They have 14 days to appeal. The order will likely get blocked by another judge in that time.

Nice to see a judge who cuts through the Bs: “I have concluded that the National Trust is likely to succeed on the merits because no statute comes close to giving the President the authority he claims to have,” Leon wrote. “As such, I must therefore GRANT the National Trust’s Motion for a Preliminary Injunction, and the ballroom construction project must stop until Congress authorizes its completion.”

Congress is going to "forget" to require the use of "donated" bribe money Pedo Trump is going to leave office leaving behind a giant hole in the ground and the donation account.

It’s a clear reminder that even projects on federal property must follow proper procedures.

“Sure SCOTUS just struck down a conversion therapy ban, but it’s the little victories that matter!” 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t want to believe this is the country I live in, but between Republican voters and non-voters, it’s the exact sort of egregious dangerous stupidity that our free-willed adult society collectively asked for.

>Sure SCOTUS just struck down a conversion therapy ban IMHO, correctly decided, as evidenced by the fact that it was an overwhelming majority (i.e. 8-1) decision. The Colorado law in question prevented a licensed therapist from attempting to **talk** a minor patient out of a gender transition while simultaneously permitting those same therapists to support/encourage minor patients in the exploration of gender transition. Even if you ignore the incongruency there (i.e. the government picking a particular psychological treatment path they prefer), the key part of the argument is in bold. The government should not (and in fact can not) regulate the things people are allowed to say with **extremely** narrow exception.

The law had a good intention. Bad implementation.

tomz17 Mar 31, 2026 +1
ehhh... when it comes to law the implementation details matter FAR more than the intention.

I guess he could be impeached and then if that passes removed through Senate. Unlikely but theoretically possible

I recognize how unlikely it is but could you imagine if the thing that brings him down is this
2
illogical_mindset Mar 31, 2026 +1
According to the judge “it’s at risk of being taken down.”
