\*Note this review is likely heavily influenced by my current state: A 34 year old father of a toddler, running on fumes, who just took a gummy on a Friday night\*
Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat is the greatest show on television. This has no f****** right to be as good as it does.
The show within the show, a modern mockumentary of a corporate retreat, is funnier than 90% of all new comedies released in the last year (according to my own opinion).
The characters are well fleshed out, with obvious commitment from their actors. The multiple A+ storylines that are all happening in real time are impressive. I find myself fascinated about the concept of just the logistics of this show, and how they likely had to hold a real, weeklong event, with actual content, and food, staff, and accommodations.
This must have taken so long to plan and the execution had to have even top notch to film the entire show in essentially 1 shot with everyone keeping the same secret.
And it is f****** amazing. And you have to wait a week for new episodes. And it’s on Amazon prime. And it should suck but it doesn’t.
It’s good, go watch it.
Thanks for your attention to this information.
Season 1 was amazing. Season 2 has somehow kept the momentum going and not disappointed

Do they anything as great as the "soaking" while someone jumps on the bed?

Brilliant. I do wonder what other situations this show could be in beyond jury duty and a small business?

I just rewatched The Good Place, and psychological impact be damned I just want them to go for a *Jury Duty Presents: The Afterlife* season

I was thinking a house mom for a fake sorority or the frat version of that could be funny

I'm not American so don't have a clue what they're really like beyond TV shows, but that actually sounds like a pretty good idea. Or like a temp at a community college. I was thinking of a cruise for some reason, think that could be good too, but would realistically be very expensive unless it was a small boat.

I’d like to see a public school now that I think about it. But pair any awarded cash with a “once you get a job at a real school we’ll also make a donation to every classroom and the school itself.”

If you’ve never heard of the Joe Schmo show, check it out. It was the original version of this.

I still say next season on a yacht. The target is a new worker and ask the guests and crew are in on it. Easily isolated.

Yeah, first 3 episodes were great. The guy they playing is do likeable once again, great casting.
I did like the first season more though. We got more behind the scenes there. As in, the actors not always playing the part i thought? James Marsden was also comedy gold in S1
Really looking forward to the rest of the series though, amazing they pulled this off again

I really love this show. Im also consistently wondering about the production details and logistics that went into making it. Have you watched The Rehearsal? ? I won’t spoil anything if you haven’t but you must!Your mind will be blown thinking about the production logistics that went into that series too.
