“The jury found Ticketmaster overcharged states by $1.72 per ticket.” That’s way too low. How did they calculate this?

> Ticketmaster overcharged states For sure. Ticket master charged me (and probably many of you) $45 in fees, PER TICKET, to the last event I went to. Part of that was a $10 delivery fee... to deliver the ticket data to the app on my phone. Like, I can buy kindle books for less than that delivery fee and they will deliver a whole book to my kindle for no extra charge, and it has DRM in it similar to event tickets to ensure it can be authenticated/not duplicated. So ya, we're getting absolutely overcharged by ticket master on every ticket too.

These guys had to pay out settlement claims for a similar class action lawsuit a few years ago. Criminals continuing to be criminals.

So long as crooks get fined less than they make instead of being put in prison, what incentive do they have to not fleece us?

Cost of doing business, same with shitty airplanes, exploding pintos, it’s all dollars and cents.

I bought ufc tickets and they added a $180 "convenience" fee. I put money on a fight and won so I broke even and was happy. I don't go to live events anymore.

Seriously, the fees alone are now more than I used to pay for concert tickets.
