Just remembered today is April fools is anyone actually planning to prank anyone

I was scrolling on tt and I just saw the "first of the month" edit and remember it's April fools today , is anyone actually doing anything this year? and if you are , please spill , I'm bored AF and would like to read your prank ideas.

I never do any like mean pranks but sometimes silliness like random jokes. Like one friend hates pranks so instead I sent her a funny gif of a cat, which went well.

I don't really understand pranks. And the way the media pushes pranks as almost the primary form of friendly interaction (third place after insults and constant obsessive competition) really makes me think that these screenwriters are either from another planet or they need help.

Maybe. But right now, everything is kinda oversaturated with confusing nonsense, from clickbait thumbnails on YouTube to the post-irony culture. Besides, my friend will most likely encounter some kind of prank during the day, and I just don't see anything original in being second. Let my prank be the absence of a prank. I don't like disturbing people. I feel like people need comfort and peace right now.

Tbh. If I Had a friend who always did pranks and he just didn't do one at April fools , it would scare the shit out of me cuz I would overestimate him so much lol

I'm never lazy about planning, but a harmless one I've seen is just changing someone's phone language and watching them panic for a second.

No prank ideas but it's 6:30 AM and I already fell for a prank. Someone in the Animorphs sub posted a realistic photoshop of an Animorphs book that was never actually written (there was a plan to write it, but it was scrapped) and basically "look what I found at the bookstore." I got so excited until I remembered what day it was, lol.

Sadly I don't think I would be able to do that (I have the squeakest voice known to man and people still think I'm a child even though I'm not) but I'm sure someone else here would love to do that 😁
