Nah this is the DOJ intentionally taking a dive in order to pay off one of their own using your tax money. Look at the recent doj losses with payouts, it's all the same.

I think it's past time to stop referring to trump's personal lawfare firm as the "Justice" Department. The official end of the DoJ was when he placed a giant banner of himself above its entrance, leaving no question as to who they serve. The Department no longer serves the US, and is instead blatantly stealing from taxpayers to reward traitors.
