Watched some of the field sobriety test. The cop was annoying as f when he was walking in a line. Couldn't make it any less confusing to just walk in a line

As someone who has “watched” a lot of episodes of “Cops” as background noise, this seems more like a feature than a flaw when it comes to field sobriety tests. They damn near always overcomplicate their directions so they have probable cause to do whatever else they want. Almost like they’ve made up their mind before they even ask you to get out of the car.

No the cops knew this video was going to come out. They are literally reading the instructions on how to give the test. You can see it on the video.

Yes but the problem is that it’s all subjective. Those tests are designed to throw up red flags. Nobody should ever agree to a field sobriety test drunk or not. Take a breathalyzer or have them draw blood after they arrest you. Those tests aren’t subjective.

Didn't know he did a public service announcement after,* warning of the danger of drinking and driving. Does anyone know if that was court ordered or on his own volition? Respect him for doing it but would respect it a little more if it's the latter.

I'll be honest, I never thought he said the 'tour' thing, really – UNTIL this moment! His team knew they might lose the battle, the whole thing get released and that REAL moment actually get meme'd to death yet again...but more than just comments this time. So they negotiated to release a long edited version. Pretty genius, to be frank.
