Your axe did nothing wrong.

Ya right? I'll adopt the axe to give it a better life. It doesn't deserve all of that. Also, could you imagine Trump with an axe?
23
arondyke 6 days ago +9
Trump with an axe, with Kanye and Chris Brown? I’m ok with that.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has blocked Kanye West from entering Britain after a row over the US rapper’s anti-Semitic comments. West has been at the centre of controversy since it was announced he would be headlining the Wireless Festival in London in July. It was understood that West applied for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the UK on Monday, but sources confirmed that the Government had blocked his entry. The Government had faced growing calls to ban West from entering the UK over his previous anti-Semitic behaviour, which included releasing a song called Heil Hitler and advertising a swastika T-shirt for sale on his website. **Read more:** [https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/04/07/kanye-west-deserves-forgiveness-says-wireless-festival-boss/?WT.mc\_id=tmgoff\_listnook\_forgiveness-says-wireless-festival-boss/&accesscontrol=facebookchannel\_open](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/04/07/kanye-west-deserves-forgiveness-says-wireless-festival-boss/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_listnook_forgiveness-says-wireless-festival-boss/&accesscontrol=facebookchannel_open)

Guess that ad in The Wall Street Journal wasn’t enough…
74
Ha-Charade-You-Are 5 days ago +9
West was only sorry because he realized it started hurting his wallet. If someone is truly sorry and seeks forgiveness and can change, I can forgive them to a point. But this dude isn’t fooling me, after his tour is over and the money is safe in his bank; the comments will come right back out
9
generic9yo 6 days ago +16
For most people, that ad is literally part of the bully rollout. Given that kanye was always a pariah, the bipolar episodes from 2022 to 2025 basically confirmed most people's beliefs of him, and he became completely iredeemable to them. The truth is that the society at large will never accept any apology he does unless it's something extreme, like donating all his money and current and future earnings to anti holocaust organisations
16
Dat_Mawe3000 6 days ago +38
He wasn’t always a pariah. The first ~decade after The College Dropout he was popular, respected, and relatively normal.
38
generic9yo 6 days ago +19
I think society started seeing him as a pariah when he interrupted Taylor Swift's speech back in 2009, and it didn't help that Ye embraced that role
19
gowonagin 6 days ago +21
Even Obama called him a “jackass” off-mic for that.
21
[deleted] 5 days ago +7
His mum dying during botched liposuction really fucked him up mentally, it was all downhill after that.
7
ChanceLingonberry452 6 days ago +6
He was always saying he was the best and always felt his “art” was misunderstood. And i thought he was the best, i even compared him to Mozart in some ways. He was never the best rapper, but for a long time he was the best producer/composer in hiphop. Didn’t like his deep dive into christianity but well. When he got into all his antisemite shit it was crossing the line for me. Can’t say i don’t listen to his music anymore but i won’t be going to his concerts. It’s sad really, because i still think he’s one of the best producers of the last 20 years.
6
tingkagol 5 days ago +3
I loved College Dropout, Late Registration. I especially liked the beats and how he revolutionized the chipmunk chorus and production he did for Common, Twista, etc. But damn... he's **extremely** overrated for people to be still following him after every bad thing he has done.
3
microbialNecromass 6 days ago +7
I never respected him.
7
Samanthacino 6 days ago +12
For as much as the UK government says antizionism is the same as antisemitism, they sure seem to treat the latter far more harshly (as they should)

If y’all check out the Kanye sub, his followers are up in arms about this. It’s crazy how toxic his fanbase is.
17
Sierranymph 6 days ago +9
This is why the U.K. blocked him. They don’t want that influence over there.

Wireless organisers are dumb as a box of rocks
35
baeb66 6 days ago +26
That quote at the end: >Melvin Benn, the managing director of Festival Republic, which organises Wireless Festival, said West deserved forgiveness for his comments and appeared to blame the musician’s mental health for his anti-Semitic remarks. What a chud. They knew the booking would draw eyeballs and bring in money. They didn't count on the government having standards.

Cool maybe we can ban Chris brown next
98
TesticleezzNuts 6 days ago +25
Pretty sure he’s currently in our justice system for assault. It was a few months ago, but there’s a chance he will be facing prison time. I’m not up to date on it all though so it may have ended or been dropped
25
Gibber_jab 6 days ago +8
Cool maybe we can ban Chris brown hasn’t stopped him from performing and arguably he’s worse than Kanye
8
aaronunderwater 6 days ago +12
Why would that be arguable Chris brown is a literal violent criminal
12
Gibber_jab 6 days ago +5
Depends who you speak to, I know people who don’t care about Chris Browns charges at all
5
LogicalReasoning1 6 days ago +11
Chris brown was banned for like a decade

Kanye doesn't have nukes
5
Faptainjack2 6 days ago +9
Kanye sold swastika merchandise and openly praised Hitler.

Can we block him from the U.S. as well. Maybe force him to live in a boat that can never come into any port?
9
Oblivionsunset 5 days ago +5
You’ve got far bigger problems in the US buddy 😭
5
hectorh 6 days ago +1
I keep seeing clips of packed stadiums in the US. And he was headlining 3 nights at a UK festival. Like, wtf is wrong with people?
1
canadianpanda7 6 days ago +4
the best part of this is his fans from the US that have spent thousands of dollars to go to this show and now he wont even be there
4
CrissyRetro 6 days ago +18
Good, he’s a bigot, misogynist & anti-Semite. We don’t want him.

Previous-Ad7618 5 days ago +4
We import enough mental shit from America already
4
KindlyCan1962 5 days ago +4
I find him so utterly hilarious and pathetic. I wonder if he realizes that Hitler would have -insert word that goes against policy, not living- West would be nothing more than an unmarked headstone
4
FiguringItOutAsWeGo 6 days ago +8
“For once, when it said that anti-Semitism has no place in the UK, [the Government] backed up its words with action,” a spokesman added. Proud of the UK for this.
8
Tex-in-Tex 6 days ago +30
If only the US could also ban him from the country too. That sack of shit sorry excuse for a human needs to disappear from all forms of media and never be given any kind of exposure to the rest of the world ever again.

Given the state of your country and it's leadership which was elected by its people, I think he's right at home where he belongs and should stay.

Consequences. Finally.
8
ExterminAiden 6 days ago +2
His album is the top performing one right now and he will perform elsewhere, doesn’t seem that consequential
2
Jaguar1986 6 days ago +2
Can we kick him out of the USA too?
2
RaisinWorried3528 6 days ago +2
Let's see how many British artists Trump whines about blocking entrance to the US today in response to this.
2
SagHor1 6 days ago +2
Ironically, This is good publicity for the people to know that he has released a new album called Bully. If he gets in, he gets to perform. If he doesn't, he has successfully made social media impressions for his album.

When you are a bigoted POS, stuff like that tends to happen.
3
thegoodnamesrgone123 6 days ago +5
I would get the meanest DM's from his fan boys when I would point out that his music sucked for a while now and he basically has the career arch of a 80s hair metal lead singer.
5
Limo_Wreck77 5 days ago +2
That's because other countries tend to take this stuff a bit more seriously, unlike America where people buy tickets for a front row seat.
