Why on earth is the FBI not using a Zero-Trust model where only specific IP addresses can even access at all?
This is insane to me. Any security folks care to point out if I am wrong about this?
I mean I have clients who use this kind of setup where you must have their VPN client with an SSH key to even get any access to email or any service on their network.

I read the title. He is director of the FBI for god's sake. He should not be using ANY consumer facing service that can be hacked like that. Even his personal email should be locked down with every high level tool available.
