They hired the guy with the most relevant experience since everything at the Kennedy Center is now shit.

He was at Graceland the other day bitching about Elvis getting treated better than him and asked if he could “take him in a fight”. The guy is dead. Probably the most insecure man on the planet.

Its kind of hilarious how intimidated by the Kennedy family legacy he is. He is trying to destroy their entire legacy and even more hilarious is that RFK is actively trying to help him destroy his own family's legacy.

There’s so much flooding our hearts and brains at any given point in time that I can’t get over the fact that this place is now named, “Donald J. Trump and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.”
Imagine if Joe Biden or Barack Obama had done this.
Adding his MFing name FIRST to this long-stranded respected institution. To everyone outside of America, we acknowledge this is BONKERS and if I think too hard about this kind of stuff it makes me want to literally vomit.

The 48th Kennedy Center Honors (2025) celebrated five iconic artists for their lifetime achievements in performing arts: country star George Strait, rock band KISS, musical theater star Michael Crawford, disco legend Gloria Gaynor, and actor/filmmaker Sylvester Stallone. The honorees were celebrated in Washington D.C. in December 2025.
The Kennedy Center
not too impressed with the honorees, kinda like how entertainment awards shows go nowadays.
(I did watch the AARP awards last night).

It's one thing not to be a fan of country music, or pop-rock, or musical theater, and that's okay. I can understand not being impressed if you're not into these things.
But to anyone who has familiarity with these areas, it is absolutely undeniable that George Straight has had a tremendous impact on country music, that KISS became and still remain icons, and that Michael Crawford is undoubtedly one of the best performers \*ever\* to grace musical theater.
And the only reason I don't mention Gaynor or Stallone is because I really don't know much about disco and film.

Why is it that every time, without fail, they accuse democrats of things like getting jobs they Didn't Earn and then go do shit like this?
The hypocrisy is cartoonish and exaggerated. I know calling them hypocrites doesn't work because they're nothing if not trolls, but I wish we could start preemptively expecting these things.

So you would think, as people who hold ourselves educated, that someone on our side would be chess players about it and act on the pattern that we see played out time and time again.
*Everything* they say is a projection. Everything. It's measurable. So how do we act preemptively on that knowledge?
