F*** him, his supporters, the Reps for encouraging it, and the Dems for letting it continue to happen. There has been little to no resistance to any of this madness from lawmakers. "Oh we just have to get through this term and it'll all be over", my ass. The EO today means that voting is dead and more meaningless than it has ever been. Entire states will not have votes counted, and the voter registration ensures that only Republican votes will count for in person. Any legal challenge to this will just end up before his SCOTUS and they will continue to grant him more and more power. All of DC needs to face Nuremberg 2.0, but not a single one will face justice. Regular citizens are too enslaved by the system to be able to organize a strike or civil disobedience on a scale that will elicit action from those higher up. The first term should have never happened, Jan 6 should have been the end of any talk about a second term, the Epstein files should have resulted in impeachment, or at least disgraceful resignation. But the regime continues getting bolder and more powerful, while everyday people just trying to exist in this world have to continue struggling to afford fuel and groceries.

How the hell are dems the bad guys now? They are a minority that can't do anything right now. Republicans, Maga and the US government are the ones to blame for shit that is happening, not just in US but around the world too. Their incompetence and idiocy and desire to screw everything up is the main cause of everything that is going on.

Funny how Dems can't do anything as the minority but Republicans can grind the system to a halt when they aren't in power.

"Republicans, Maga and the US government are the ones to blame". The US government isn't just the ones you mentioned, the Dems make up a large portion of that "US Government". There's a reason that "a strongly worded letter" is a meme at this point. The "always take the high road" approach has never worked with these people, and any time they do "take a stand" its performative. Look at the government shutdowns, absolutely nothing was achieved because it was a show. Being a minority in power doesn't mean a thing. The Dems have had full control before, and the "minority" Reps managed to block anything of note from being passed by delaying or interrupting any type of vote or progress. Even now, they just roll over, and even cross the party line because "the high road".
It's the lack of resistance, or the performative versions of it, that lay blame for the current situations also at the feet of the Democratic party. A large part of it is due to the "two party" system being a complete failure of a system. But when a big deal was made months ago about some Dems "cussing" as a form of protest, while you have the other side calling for the deaths of immigrants and imprisonment of protestors, is pathetic.

Yes, i understand your points, but currently dems have no real power to do anything to fix this shit, so its all performative until they regain some.

Bingo. It’s all about the mid terms. There’s lots of talking heads working day and night trying to say the Dems are to blame. Schumer this, Jeffries that. Sure, the corporate wing of the party isn’t great, but they’re not the ones in power. And, when the Dems do get power we’ve only given them a bare minimum majority for decades.

Yes and no. They don’t have controlling power but they could be doing more. If there is legitimately nothing they can do, then it shows 100% that the 2-Party system that America has needs to be ended ASAP. It’s always been a terrible system, but even more so over the past few decades. All it does is seesaw power without any progression. Reps in control, undo anything Dems did while Dems block anything Reps try to do. Gems in control, undo anything Reps did while Reps block any Dem advancements. I can’t remember the last time when a legit step forward was made without the other side fighting to undo the progress the very first chance they got.

> and the Dems for letting it continue to happen
What do you want them to do?
The blame should go to the American people

Get vocal about calling his actions and lies out. If they can’t stop him and his little war fine, then they should at least be filibustering every bill. Because if they can’t stop this crazy train they can at least slow it down. And finally actually stand up to them, not just back down any time we have the upper hand.

This is a weird take. Dems representing the people are suppose to fight for the people. That doesn’t absolve Americans from their part in this, but fr?

Elected officials are supposed to represent and protect those that put them in power. The Reps are amplifying the xenophobia, racism, and homo/trans phobia of their base, while the Dems sit around and softly complain. They could have held their ground during the shutdowns, nope. They could have disrupted the SOTU address until every one of them was removed one by one, no they had the opposite "a do not disturb" party policy. Seriously, after each time Biden did one he was heckled and screamed at throughout the addresses, but the Dems "don't want to appear disruptive" or "disrespectful to American tradition". There is no excuse for respecting pedos, or disrupting the formation and empowerment of a autocratic, christofascist, dictatorial regime.
I stated above how the average citizen is powerless to do much without risk of severe consequences. The system that has existed for the last several decades, 80s onward, has established a state where staging a general strike or civil disobedience is almost impossible on the scale needed to cause change. Minneapolis set a decent example, but unless entire states go on general strike, or the "No Kings" protest last more than one day every six months, it's just "feel good" resistance.
