I can never not see him as the idiot from Other Guys.

This and the BBC announcing a British Spy show with Dan Stevens today. I assume means an executive at Netflix and BBC just saw "Slow Horses" and was like "WE CAN'T LET APPLE HAVE THE BEST SPY SHOW IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW!"

Bold words from people without a Gary Oldman

Gary Oldman: *farts*
Best show on Apple. I’m not being sarcastic.

I've been on a 90s movie binge and always happy and surprised when he shows up lol. He was the only likable character in State of Grace and deserved a bigger role in True Romance

Someone actually remembers State of Grace?
That move did the Irish mob before the Departed did. It wasn't very good though...

It was alright but was overshadowed by Goodfellas that premiered 5 days later

If anything I think some of the roles in True Romance benefit from being in only one or two scenes without being overplayed. The scene with Christopher Walken is another example of this, Brad Pitt too.

Dan Steven’s you say, well I imagine he had to beat off a lot of other British actors for that roll.

Every time I see Steve Coogan in something, I always get a little disappointed that it isn't an Alan Partridge project.
That being said, Hamlet 2 is the exception to the rule.

Tom Cruise had to drop out of the sequel. Steve Coogan took his place

Same title for sure. I watched a few episodes and then somehow lost contact with it.

Do I need to watch Legends of the Fall to know what’s happening in this film, or does this film stand on its own?

I just assumed it was a Guy Ritchie movie and couldn't understand why they didn't put his name all over the trailer. This is such a detailed copy of his style - the speed of the camera shots, the music, the humor, the accents. Everything. I love this type of movie, so the more the merrier, but I bet Guy Ritchie feels ripped off.
