*For example, Chavez-DeRemer had expressed a desire to go to events such as a UFC fight in Chicago, a **Morgan Wallen concert** and to see friends and family in various states, and asked staff to design work trips that would provide her openings to attend those events, the source said.* Can you get more stereotypical for this administration?

Anything but working and doing your job for the benefit of the American people as a whole… yep she fits this admin

It's hard to do a job that you have absolutely no idea how to do. And you've fired all the people who could have helped you out.

How is that any worse than what Kash Patel did?

j0llyllama 1 day ago +122
She had the audacity to do it while being a woman. Kash only mildly inconvenienced Trump by being brown while acting white. Minor tresspass compared to being female.

Kash Patel has a Y chromosome.

If THIS admin is investigating her for misconduct either she did some antifa robinhood shit or she's so blatantly inept/awful even a pedophile protecting nazi government didn't want her. I'm betting it's the latter.

Drank on the job a lot, slept with staff, her husband is a sex pest. The usual

To which Cabinet Secretary are you referring?

Honestly, I see her keeping her job for any of those stuff out of principle. She probably rubbed someone the wrong way and got the boot for minor stupid shit as an excuse

My guess is drinking. Trump's weird about alcohol, stemming from his brother dying as a drunk. Kash Patel is reportedly about to be out for the reason. The Atlantic reported that they recently had to take his door down with a battering ram to do a wellness check on him, after a night of blackout drinking. Disclaimer: This is all allegedly and reportedly. I am not describing these events as facts. I'm only relaying publicly available reporting.

He oddly brought on a lot of drunks to his cabinet though…

They are so awful it’s the only way they can cope with themselves.

Trump doesn’t give a shit about anything lmao, she probably just pissed off someone who actually has Trump’s ear with corruption shenanigans.
17
lord_pizzabird 1 day ago +15
Nah. This is one of the most consistent features of Trump's persona going back decades. He's consistently just not an alchohol guy. I'm not sure if it was a factor in this, but the idea that he doesn't care about drinking contradicts with Trump lore.

ViaBromantica 1 day ago +13
If Trump’s not an alcohol guy how the hell did Hegseth ever pass muster?
13
Safe_Procedure999 1 day ago +5
he knows how to kiss ass
5
lord_pizzabird 1 day ago +8
I think it makes sense and fits the pattern. Hegseth claimed and convinced Trump the he was a recovered addict, not an active alcoholic. It sounds like Trump is sympathetic to that, due to his brother.

zezxz 1 day ago +8
Donald Trump caring about anything other than Donald Trump contradicts “Trump lore” too. Donald Trump might abhor the idea of Donald Trump drinking, but the guy had a brand of vodka…?
8
Aazadan 1 day ago +4
Hegseth is the biggest drunk in the administration. Trump doesn't care, he likes that people are compromised because it helps create loyalty as those people know they don't have the competence to ever get a better job.

Spire_Citron 1 day ago +2
Wasn't Patel a known drunk from the start?
2
alextheruby 1 day ago +2
He hired hegseth so he isn’t that weird about alcohol

Hmmm. She was in office for roughly 406 days or 35,078,400 seconds. According to the novel, Forest Gump ran a 100-yard dash in 9.5 seconds. Going by that logic, Lori Chavez-DeRemer was Labor Secretary for 3,692,463.158 football fields. Call it 3.7 megafootball fields if a little metric is allowed.

No surprise. This one has been in the works for a while, and Trump, or at least Susie Wyles, is cleaning house. It would be nice if they took the same approach as they did the new CDC director in wanting someone "normal" to replace those departing. I'll take any bit of toning down the crazy.

The CDC director is industry plant wrapped in the vestiges of a moderate.

He's getting rid of all the women. Tulsi and Linda are next

Tulsi for sure. Maybe not Linda because he's friends with Vince.
18
godisanelectricolive 1 day ago +14
Tulsi’s close to Putin so maybe that buys her more time too.
14
DFWPunk 1 day ago +5
Ehhh... Half of them have gotten checks from Putin. I doubt Trump cares much about that anymore. I also doubt Vlad is getting anything from her he can't get another way, like the people she hired into sensitive positions. So far every woman that has had stories about getting fired ended up out the door within a few weeks, and there have been stories floating about her for a couple of weeks. It makes sense he'd blame her for some of the issues with Iran, even if he won't say it publicly.

She f****** suuuucks. She moved to Oregon from California in 2000 and has made herself a f****** nuisance ever since. Now that she’s done in DC as an Oregonian I hope she fucks off to some other state.

I am literally shocked that there is anything that could be considered misconduct in the reign of Trump.
8

I could see misconduct being defined as not kissing his ass enough to his liking.
