Favorability doesn't win elections. Turnout does. Keep that same energy through November.

Not because the Democrat leadership is doing anything good, it is just that the GOP has been screwing up really bad.

I’ve said the same thing since he won the election. Just like in 2020, the democrats will win by riding a wave of Republican bullshit, not because they are offering anything new. Round and round it goes. Neither side has to change a single thing because they can always bank of voters turning to them every 2-4 years when they are disillusioned with the other side, or because they are scared of what the other side will do so they vote out of fear.

Right. But that’s why I hold the Dems culpable in all of this. That centrist forgiven and forget bullshit allows fascism to fester. You have to cut it out immediately, but we’ve let it spread and corrupt the whole body politic in America for decades.

Indeed. You would assume it's pretty hard to self-identify as a centrist politician these days, given that it proposes to be a compromise is possible between left and right, even as the self-proclaimed moderate right voted (again) for a rapist traitor openly running on a fascist platform. So when they then keep pretending that a normal, moderate right exists that they need to reach out to, it's hard to believe they're actually serious about their convictions.
Use them, of course, if you need to. But replace them whenever possible and never trust them.

Jeffries' and Schumer's dream finally rolled around. The public is so desperate they'll turn out even if the Democrats don't do anything.

The two need to worry about facing their own internal challenges. They are a failure with token demonstrative stunts.

Dried cat turds are demonstrably better than wet doggy diarrhea.
But they are both utterly shitty.
Vote Progressive. Save America.

The people who actually believe the Democratic party's "favorability ratings" were a factor are new to following politics. Been calling that out for a long time now. If the electorate is unhappy with how things are going, they will vote for the party out of power, it's that simple.

*Don't* forget about it. That's something the Dems need to work on as well. They are doing good only because the Republicans are absolute trash and also the ones in power.
Voters generally tend to lean against the party in power *unless* it manages to stand strong like the Obama admin did in 2012. Change nothing by 2032, and the Republicans will swiftly regain power as it did in 2024.

Republicans won seats in 2014 so not sure what your Obama example is for

*Progressives* are crushing it. Establishment Dems are grasping at the last vestiges of their power and doing everything they can to crush a true left wing populist movement.

Yeah, I'd definitely rate my feelings toward the Democrats as unfavorable, at least so long as Schumer and Jeffries are leading the party. But I'm still voting for them over the Republicans. It's like running from a bear; you don't need to be fast--you only need to be faster that the person you're with.

Um... no. That's insanely out of touch.
Do we want Democrats to represent voters and improve their lives through an ongoing movement?
Or are we cool with the status quo of nothing meaningful getting done as we switch presidents every 4 years?

Now if only the Democrats would do what the people who vote for them want them to do like focus on affordability and prosecute the Trumpists. All the Democrats seem to want to do is ram through gun bans and other unpopular bullshit like that. I am so disappointed with the democrats right now. We need somebody worth a damn to vote for to stand up against Trumpism.

Low favorability? Sounds like the perfect plot twist in the political soap opera that never ends!
