FWIW I also recommend Arnold’s Encyclopedia of Body Building even with all the latest research and peer reviewed studies, his anthology created from his personal workout logs and journals of what movement with what muscle resulted in optimal striation and development is unmatched. Wherever your interests lie, it’s an incredible reference of handcrafted dedication and personal physical improvement that can likely never be matched by another individual in that arena with his level of intelligence and charisma. I don’t think we give the u/GovSchwarzenegger enough credit for how mentally sharp he is compared to the average person, let alone individuals who may sacrifice their mental acuity for physical prowess, aka the stereotypical gym rats and body builders.
