Making your own condiments is worth it for some things

Mayonnaise: ten seconds with an immersion blender, tastes dramatically better. Mustard: two weeks and twenty minutes of work. Hot sauce: covered elsewhere. Ranch dressing: better fresh. Ketchup: not worth it, commercial is fine. BBQ sauce: borderline, depends how particular you are.
