It’s great watching it. Watching it was sweet, then bitter. Bitter because there’s no more

I really liked it and the consumer in me wants more, but I don’t know if it’d be the best idea. I liked his daughter as a character but I don’t think it’d work as a stand alone spinoff

Odd revival. Basically a movie split into four episodes. Considering only four episodes and apparently a one off, not sure why they bothered to make it. Good to see Bryan Cranston return to comedy after doing so many dramas.

>not sure why they bothered to make it Money and the chance to hang out again seems like a good enough reason to me. I know they had a video reunion a little while back and seem to all get along. I enjoyed it enough. Im glad they made it.

Cranston was pushing for it for years. The short run is likely due to Muniz. He doesnt act anymore, hes a NASCAR driver now and they had to fit shooting into his racing schedule.

He was in Why Him? James Franco’s issues aside, it’s pretty funny.

I did enjoy his small roles in The Phoenician Scheme and The Studio, and while I'd love to see him in more comedies, he's such a great dramatic actor I get him wanting to flex his chops.

Slipped right back into Hal like a comfortable pair of shoes. I kept expecting a Walter White wink-and-nod but nope

I felt like Evil Hal had a little Walter White in him.

The Studio, my friend. Watch it!

Cranston is so good in this! Particularly in the finale when he gets Weekend at Bernie's-d. He really goes there and gives the most undignified, off-the-wall sloppy drunk performance. Particularly funny because the character still has flashes of that Walter White menace.

I’ve read a lot online it was pitched as a movie but became a limited series. Don’t know if true

Watch the Studio if you haven’t, Cranston is incredible in it in a very funny role

Instead of reviving or regenerating a show, just do a made-for-tv(streaming) special. Hell, put it in theaters. Yes, we want to know what happens to our favorites but some of them wouldn’t fair well today. It’s a huge swing to bring everyone back, for the magic to stick, and for everyone watching to feel it.

>Instead of reviving or regenerating a show, just do a made-for-tv(streaming) special. This is exactly what they did. They just split it into 4 parts

Why not 10 episodes at least?

But why would i come back to and continue a story that was perfect the way it was and has this certain type of energy that is a big part of my childhood? Why after having a delicious meal and eating the final piece of the dessert i'd be offerd a second main course that kinda is like the one i already had byt not as well seasoned and cooked? Why would i tarnish my palet after eating a sweet treat to now munch on some leftover meal? Pointless!

This analogy is long winded and dumb and the revival was actually quite good.
