Imagine being so triggered by people existing that you ruin your own life by committing a felony.

Imagine having a life so soft that the benign existence of people different from you is enough to break you.

From the article:
A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after a fire at an LGBTQ+ nightclub, police have said.
“Whilst I am devastated to say that the building itself has been completely destroyed, I am deeply relieved, grateful and proud to confirm that no staff or customers were harmed, and everybody went home safely,” said Frank McMahon, whose family has run Pink Punters for more than 25 years.
“The building may be gone, but the family, the memories, the spirit and the love remain. And let me say this clearly: Pink Punters will be back.”

Does England have hate crime classifications? If so, this needs to be tried as such.

Yes it does, and it will be probably classified as a hate motivated terrorist attack unless it turns out to be something very personal. The arrested man is 51 and they’re not releasing more info at this stage and asking the public to not speculate (standard procure but ironically pointing towards that being the motive they’re working with).

I wonder why they haven't released any info about the person yet.

>A 51-year-old man from the Buckinghamshire city was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remained in custody, police said.
That is pretty much all police are allowed to release when they have arrested someone

Oh bloody hell! I remember staying at the hotel across the road from there when I was doing a maintenance course. That was back in 2013. I didn't realise how long it has been operating. Plus, I thought it was cool that historically, we wouldn't of broke the Nazi code if it wasn't for Alan Turing at Bletchley Park. So that place had a symbolic meaning of societal progress. Sad news.

Sad news indeed, although the owner is taking it on the chin, just glad nobody got hurt (which was clearly the main intent) and says they’ll reopen ASAP.

Maybe people can stop telling us we're not under threat, now? That'd be nice.

The best night out in the city, pretty much the only place that was open after 2am that wasnt the shitty c*****. Amazing that everyone got out OK was always packed and inside its like a sprawling maze with lots of narrow corridors between the different bars and dance floors.

Why do so many people feel the need to hurt people who never hurt them?

This is a terrible tragedy, thanks be to the staff and rescue services that no one was hurt. And here's hoping the place can reopen soon.
But seriously, "Fenny Stratford near Milton Keynes." Those arent towns, those are characters in Downton Abbey. British placenames are amazing.
