Egregious tautology that no one needed. He did something awful. She left him. That's how relationships work. I'm sure it was devastating, but feeling deeply hurt is not the sole bar one's actions must pass to be considered abuse. The problem with chronically online therapy speak and relationship influencers is that all nuance, shades of grey, spectrums have been eviscerated in favor of clear definitions that people incapable of handling the human experience can easily digest and use to justify their own feelings, which may or may not be warranted. I'm not saying that cheating is nuanced, I'm saying that there are different ways to categorize behavior in a relationship than "amazing" or "abuse" with no in between.
