Lukewarm? So it performed better than expected.

Luvsyr24 Apr 10, 2026 +45
Way better if it got lukewarm.

_AskMyMom_ Apr 10, 2026 +44
Pisswarm is more accurate.

AnonymousBanana405 Apr 11, 2026 +5
Pisswarm, like when she let her clients piss on her for money.

Yeah, but they paid for "critically acclaimed."
5
LeiraLaw Apr 11, 2026 +6
I think, for some viewers, it may be like witnessing a wreck, you don’t WANT to look, but it’s there in front of you so you can’t help but take a peek
6
ElectrOPurist Apr 11, 2026 +5
Bots love it. Four antennas up!
5
copyrider Apr 11, 2026 +3
Many very smart people use “lukewarm” as the term for “greatest of all time”
3
exqueezemenow Apr 11, 2026 +1
Well, Luke died in the end...
1
SnoopingStuff Apr 11, 2026 +1
Book sales on audible for Entitled will exceed that

Myheelcat Apr 12, 2026 +1
Right above the “How to get rid of an ingrown toe nail” video
1
metallee98 Apr 10, 2026 +122
Gotcha.... a few dozen people clicked on it by accident.
122
Packwood88 Apr 10, 2026 +53
I had to click into it just to select “not interested” so it would stop being a banner ad every time i opened prime.
53
Squishy_Boy Apr 10, 2026 +24
My partner and I laughed out loud when Netflix tried to tell us it was the #1 movie on the platform.
24
The_Incredulous_Hulk Apr 11, 2026 +3
I never saw it get up past 5, but I still opened it just to dislike it.
3
Legitimate-Front3987 Apr 10, 2026 +17
They put a giant banner for it on Android TV. Definitely had a lot of people mis-click it.
17
Worst_Choice Apr 10, 2026 +3
I walked in and found out it started to autoplay before I turned it off. Wasn’t happy about that.
3
MadTube Apr 11, 2026 +3
Autoplay, probably
3
ohdearitsrichardiii Apr 11, 2026 +1
Some probably skimmed it to have material for jokes about her, and/or snarking on the internet
1
Villageijit Apr 11, 2026 +1
They did force people in the military to watch it
1
legomaximumfigure Apr 10, 2026 +79
It's common for Amazon and other streaming to have movies come on automatically after one movie ends. Someone leaves the TV on for their pets while they are out so Melania gets some views even if they aren't from humans.

bit of a mind blown moment for me. how many of these metrics are complete bs for this very reason? Who hasn't fallen asleep watching an 80s comedy and woke up 8 hours later to an episode of Unsolved Mysteries? Taking into account all streaming traffic, it's happening constantly, everywhere.
30
grahamulax Apr 10, 2026 +6
It’s all vibes. Economy, stocks, and now stats from institutions we believed in. Thanks to the transparency of Trump f****** up
6
SuperbRhubarb7838 Apr 10, 2026 +3
I just fall asleep to Unsolved Mysteries
3
555byte Apr 10, 2026 +1
I used to watch it on Pluto for that very reason
1
lykathea2 Apr 10, 2026 +1
I do too sometimes. I wonder if Unsolved Mysteries has huge streaming numbers for that reason.
1
SoTiredYouDig Apr 10, 2026 +4
Sounds like a bit of an unsolved mystery.
4
MazzIsNoMore Apr 10, 2026 +2
This is exactly what "second screen" is all about. They are fine with you not actually watching what's playing as long as you maybe might catch an ad
2
mercurywaxing Apr 10, 2026 +7
It was up next after I half payed attention to a good but repetitive documentary about The Villages while doing my taxes. I had to finalize and when my attention came back it was 10-15 minutes into Melania and I became a viewer even though I turned it off. Didn’t realize I had autoplay enabled since I always shut it off after I watched a movie or episode.
7
CoverSuspicious5250 Apr 10, 2026 +1
Did you quick run take a shower when u realized?
1
mercurywaxing Apr 11, 2026 +1
Sanitized the television, Gove'nor. That I did right quickly too!
1
Saelvinoth Apr 10, 2026 +7
Melania getting left on for pets is practically animal abuse
7
HesitationIsDefeat87 Apr 10, 2026 +2
This is exactly what happened to me but I was lucky enough to still be awake to put a stop to it
2
HesitationIsDefeat87 Apr 10, 2026 +27
Prime tried to put it on automatically at the end of a movie i was watching. I've never canceled that feature so fast.
27
Amatheiaisnoexcuse Apr 10, 2026 +3
I noticed the same thing.
3
Darkdragoon324 Apr 10, 2026 +15
Lukewarm? Overselling it much?
15
Alarmed_Drop7162 Apr 10, 2026 +13
Was yesterday her promoting the streaming premiere ?
13
NarlusSpecter Apr 10, 2026 +9
I think she's promoting some scandal that's about to hit the news.
9
Alarmed_Drop7162 Apr 10, 2026 +8
This one looks like a ripe candidate https://www.dailyjournal.com/articles/389940-i-wolff-v-trump-i-and-the-preemptive-anti-slapp-gambit-a-tale-of-two-statutes

I can’t wait for awards season next year when Melanie wins all the Oscar’s because the Pumpkin King threatened to kill the entire entertainment industry
9
Threadheads Apr 11, 2026 +1
She’s definitely going to sweep the Razzies.
1
8rnlsunshine Apr 10, 2026 +10
I actually enjoy watching the worst movies and shows just to see how bad they can get. Been doing it for years. It’s kind of a personal test at this point. But this one? I couldn’t even finish it. It’s so bad I wouldn’t sit through it again, even if someone paid me.
10
Standardeviation2 Apr 10, 2026 +1
Maybe if RiffTrax takes it on.
1
PiskoWK Apr 10, 2026 +8
lmao, why did they bother releasing it at all
8
Useful-Soup8161 Apr 10, 2026 +4
Money. Although they actually lost money on it.
4
stimulatedbymaple Apr 10, 2026 +6
Melania didn't and that was the whole point
6
Xanthu Apr 11, 2026 +1
They already paid for it
1
igloomaster Apr 10, 2026 +8
Amazon is definitely padding the numbers
8
imjustsurfin Apr 10, 2026 +7
"Lukewarm" in the same way that Neptune is a bit chilly.
7
malac0da13 Apr 10, 2026 +2
And a little breezy.
2
Nikiaf Apr 10, 2026 +6
I would genuinely like to know how many of the streams were just autoplays that people didn't notice.
6
Razzler1973 Apr 10, 2026 +7
I watched about 25 minutes and turned it off I never listen to much 'OMG so bad' cause, as a non American, I consider the politics involved But, damn it was shit Opening 7 or 8 minutes is a procession of cars and she gets out as camera pans from legs upwards She selects a dress This is boring as hell. Get into the upbringing and early life and meeting Trump and so on This just isn't that at all. I don't even know what it's supposed to be or who it's for. Feels like they shot a nice home video for her to watch on a rainy night
7
CoverSuspicious5250 Apr 10, 2026 +6
It was a $40 million bribe from Jeff Besos to trumpstein.  Literally
6
AsideLost Apr 10, 2026 +6
Heard they were just waiting for Stephen Millers documentary “My Struggle” to come out
6

I was halfway through Borat when I realized I was watching the wrong movie.
5
No_Development_9537 Apr 10, 2026 +5
They’re going to push it to our iPhones like that one U2 album.
5
GreatMacGuffin Apr 11, 2026 +6
The first day it popped up on prime, I clicked for it to not be suggested again.
6
mpbaker12 Apr 11, 2026 +6
F*** that. Who would watch that?
6
Any-Reputation3639 Apr 10, 2026 +5
They should release it on VHS.
5
Threadheads Apr 11, 2026 +1
They should release it into space.
1
nasnedigonyat Apr 10, 2026 +4
Where is it streaming so I can give it a thumbs down and say I'm not interested in it
4
Threadheads Apr 11, 2026 +1
Amazon. This whole thing was a bribe from Bezos to the Trumps.
1
PlayOpposite5249 Apr 10, 2026 +5
Amazon prime told me it was the #2 movie in America. 🤣🤣
5
astroglitch0 Apr 10, 2026 +5
That's funny, Amazon told me it was #1 about an hour after it showed up.
5
Miserable-Estate6857 Apr 10, 2026 +4
I left the tv on prime and it automatically started playing after another movie. I wonder if this is a common occurrence or if I was being punished. I stopped it and gave her the thumbs down after I noticed.
4
GingerlyUnraveling Apr 10, 2026 +3

3

From the sounds of it this movie was way too boring even for a good hate watch.
1
Unicornchick1977 Apr 10, 2026 +3
I’m not gonna bother to watch it, but I would like to watch the one about Michelle Obama that’s on Netflix. I keep forgetting to watch that one.

I just watched it out of curiosity. This documentary is what she wants people to believe about her, rich and important, with a lifestyle that has the best of everything, and every moment is a glam fashion shoot. She said she travels "between NYC, WA DC, and Mar-A-Lago", and it takes 4-6 blacked out SUVs and a private jet to take her anywhere. It just looks like a shallow, vapid, greedy lifestyle. Several minutes were spent on her attendance at President Carter's funeral, which was on the same day her mother had died the previous year. That's all she talked about, her mother, and not a word about the former president. Then she was filmed at an empty St Patrick's Cathedral, with the Catholic priests fawning all over her, walking down the aisle of the empty church to remember her mother. This was over the top. Interestingly, I saw her female Secret Service Agent in a short elevator scene at 14:35, and I wonder if she is the fake Melania that we often see? With a wig, sunglasses and heels, she easily could be. I do think she is gorgeous, dresses well, and the photography and soundtrack were both enjoyable. But this documentary does not do a single thing to make me respect or like her, it does the opposite. In hindsight it will not reflect well in the Trumps when their era is over, hopefully soon.
3
wrxninja Apr 11, 2026 +3
Why? It was just a dumb movie made to mask money laundering.
3
melgish Apr 11, 2026 +3
I could not wait to miss this movie.
3
LoudNoises89 Apr 11, 2026 +3
If you don’t want to watch her documentary you can watch the biographical film they made about her, Russian Psycho.
3
Captain_Aceveda Apr 11, 2026 +3
Why did she need a documentary in the first place?
3
YeahIGotNuthin Apr 11, 2026 +3
Why did melanoma need a documentary? Because Amazon needed a way to justify giving her $28 million to improve their chances of getting a merger through without interference from the federal government.
3
Substantial_Court792 Apr 11, 2026 +3
Lukewarm response? That is only because Bezos manipulated the numbers. I would say it tanked.
3
ddgenayla1 Apr 11, 2026 +3
Who watching that c*** anyway...rather watch the some reruns on tv
3
LomentMomentum Apr 10, 2026 +2
So *that’s* why she decided to upended her husband’s no-talk-about-he-who-shall-be-no-longer-named.
2
EdieVv Apr 10, 2026 +2
"Lukewarm response" is much too generous.
2
OneSeaworthiness7768 Apr 10, 2026 +2
I urge people not to even hate-watch this garbage.
2
promixr Apr 10, 2026 +2
I have no direct evidence of this - but I’d be willing to bet anyone who has streamed this was curious to see how bad it was- and to make fun of it …
2
Exotic_Course_2597 Apr 10, 2026 +2
"I really don't care, do you?"
2
CoverSuspicious5250 Apr 10, 2026 +2
Lukewarm.  Does that now mean frozen?
2
vroart Apr 11, 2026 +2
There’s still awards seasons
2
Legitimate-Jelly3000 Apr 11, 2026 +2
If she confessed to her relationship with maxwell and epsiten perhaps it would get more views

KeyVehicle4500 Apr 11, 2026 +2
**Yes, the 2026 documentary** ***Melania*** **(full title often given as** ***Melania: Twenty Days to History*****) is widely considered a box office flop.** It was a Brett Ratner-directed film chronicling Melania Trump's life in the roughly 20 days leading up to Donald Trump's second inauguration in January 2025. Amazon MGM Studios acquired the rights for about **$40 million** and spent another **\~$35 million** on marketing, for a total cost in the **$75 million** range. # Box Office Performance * **Domestic (US & Canada)**: \~$16.3–16.4 million * **International**: Very low, around $0.2–0.3 million (e.g., poor showings in the UK; pulled from theaters in South Africa before release) * **Worldwide total**: \~$16.5–16.7 million

I'd rather watch a colonoscopy live. Or Dude, Where's My Car on repeat.
1

I’d rather do colonoscopy prep again than watch this.
1
Ragnarawr Apr 10, 2026 +1
Does the documentary cover how she got sold to Trump, or is it one of those bullshit documentaries to whitewash history?
1
pre_pun Apr 10, 2026 +1
any warmth was probably vasodilation from that evening's drinks
1
BugsyMcNug Apr 10, 2026 +1
I remember Amazon said it was trending number one and I thought "this is probably a lie"
1
Famous-Song1233 Apr 10, 2026 +1
That means people are comfortable watching at home, so that they won’t be embarrassed in public. Kinda like you say you hate that song, but be at home dancing in the mirror when it comes on.
1
Middleof613290 Apr 10, 2026 +1
I watched it. It’s super hilarious. It’s odd in a way that is magical.

I fell asleep watching Amazon prime video and I woke up and this shit was already like a third of the way through, I stopped the video and turned off the TV. Then I was pissed off thinking Amazon's intentionally queuing this trash on autoplay and they're going to be like oh people are watching it lol
1
exqueezemenow Apr 11, 2026 +1
It got a response???
1
exile29 Apr 11, 2026 +1
Was watching something on Prime Video. Fell asleep. Woke up during the first minutes of that turd of a movie. I guess auto play is how most of the "views" happen.
1
billybud77 Apr 11, 2026 +1
MAGA men account for its ratings. They watched it, thinking it was going to be p**********.

Not sure how this would work but would be great Karma if the gay/drag queen demo would attach to this and make it a thing (mockery /satire based ) .
1
piirtoeri Apr 11, 2026 +1
I watched 25 minutes out of gross abject curiosity. I'll never get that back and should have kept reading Lord Of The Flies.
1
kaminop Apr 11, 2026 +2
> kept reading Lord Of The Flies. They’re also making a new movie about that.
2
piirtoeri Apr 11, 2026 +2
Yeah it's aired in Britain already last month and will be on Netflix I guess. Which is a pleasant surprise because I was unaware of this fact when I started last week. I have like 30 pages left.

The US dropped the biggest bomb ever, made in America, on Iran. They dropped a case of DVDs of the Melania move.
1
GimpyGeek Apr 12, 2026 +1
Same amount as it did in theaters even though they astroturfed the rotten tomatoes reviews it's honestly shocking to me that they've put zero effort into moderating the obvious bot accounts off too. In varying forms of media I've seen the critics and the consumer reviews differ wildly once in a while but you can't sit there and tell me the "viewers" on there aren't bots, and continuing to allow Melania's fake reviews diminishes the reputation for a review site that they are if you ask me.
