Perhaps they'll be able to build in some more humanity into the AI version.

fillafjant Apr 14, 2026 +326
They are replacing him with something that can pass the Turing test.
326
tepkel Apr 14, 2026 +89
But if the AI version is too humanlike, that would mean it would fail the Turing test as people would be able to recognize it isn't Zuckerberg because it's too human!

Ai-ception

Momik Apr 15, 2026 +3
This Nolan movie’s gonna suck
3
JoJackthewonderskunk Apr 15, 2026 +3
I just love after all this time I can still drop -ception on something and folks still understand what im saying.
3
NanDemoNee Apr 14, 2026 +6
That's the Turding test.
6
i_max2k2 Apr 14, 2026 +9
The real question is, has Zuck ever passed the Turing test?

Finally meta employees can say "he's just a human, like us!" about their boss
20
Ahelex Apr 14, 2026 +18
Imagine if everyone just decided that AI Zuck is the real Zuck because it feels more human than the IRL version.
18
koriroo Apr 14, 2026 +10
Make sure it likes Sweet Baby rays though
10
notsupercereal Apr 14, 2026 +6
Does he not? I would assume even reptilians and aliens enjoy good bbq, why else would they visit the surface?
6
robserious21 Apr 14, 2026 +7
Zuck was the robot. Now its a turing test for us to realize this “ai” is actually biologic based. Olsson 1995 - fungi communicate Babikov 2013 - biologic computers based on amino acids Edit:spacing
7
MisterPistacchio Apr 14, 2026 +6
That shouldn't be hard. All AI models I've tried have more humanity than him already
6
Redfalconfox Apr 14, 2026 +5
They could save billions by just buying a couple mannequins with tape recorders playing non-sense
5
rob1nthehood Apr 14, 2026 +626
So they can get rid of him and save the company his CEO salary now, right?
626
E1M1_DOOM Apr 14, 2026 +193
At the end of the day, those at the top have failed to recognize that they are actually the easiest to replace with AI. On the plus side, when the AI take over, hopefully things will get better cause they won't be ego tripping assholes.
193
Staff_Guy Apr 14, 2026 +145
AI CEO does not need a private jet. AI CEO does not need a 300 foot yacht with another 150 foot tender yacht to hold the helicopter and jet skis. This all sounds a lot better than any of our current crop of "billionaire" CEOs.
145
Quithelion Apr 14, 2026 +51
And the severance package for AI CEO is just switching off, instead of dead weight CEO getting paid in millions after making the company losses financially.
51
Omsy92 Apr 14, 2026 +7
No switch off, Skynet becomes silf awayrrre
7
Beetcoder Apr 14, 2026 +16
You can literally have a C-suite full of AIs and it’s cheaper than them. 24/7 decision-makers with full availability.
16
VicFatale Apr 14, 2026 +12
You know what? A human CEO doesn’t need those things either.
12
schadkehnfreude Apr 14, 2026 +13
I'm sure they know, but they're also sadly the ones who make those decisions
13
Bazylik Apr 14, 2026 +6
exactly, they hold the keys, they will never replace themselves.
6
CSBatchelor1996 Apr 14, 2026 +3
You'll just have to convince them to replace themselves, good luck.
3
Alive_kiwi_7001 Apr 14, 2026 +17
Unless the bot stages a coup and acquires Zuck's Class B shares, sadly not.
17
SeaWitch1031 Apr 14, 2026 +179
This creepy weirdo thinks there should be more of him? wtf.

This is entirely in keeping with Zuck's ego: "My people need to see more of me. But I don't have the time to cater for their petty demands."
23
KwisatzHaderach94 Apr 14, 2026 +3
the crazy part is that the ai will probably seem more human than the original

God the future is so bleak. Replacing workers with AI, now replacing the boss with AI, soon companies will be a series of AIs (LLMs) automating tasks between each other and all staff will be gone.
145
BendicantMias Apr 14, 2026 +23
Well that wouldn't even be his idea. The cryptobros thought of it first - [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decentralized\_autonomous\_organization](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decentralized_autonomous_organization)
23
Ketzeph Apr 14, 2026 +11
DAOs are just joke company structures intended to rely on smart contract gimmicks. Take all issues you have with a normal company and then try to add NFT-like structures into it. It is not an AI company idea or the idea of substituting leadership for AI. Rather it’s basically a way for companies to be just as beholden to ownership interests but without the liquidity of stock for those who invest
11
N8CCRG Apr 14, 2026 +46
For first time, something AI has a chance of actually surpassing humans in quality.
46
DryTown Apr 14, 2026 +100
Will the real Zuck receive a summary of these conversations, or will he have no idea what the f*** you're talking about when you see him IRL.
100
Particular-County277 Apr 14, 2026 +68
My first thought. Second: who on earth in that company will want to talk to him AI or irl?
68
New-Ad-363 Apr 14, 2026 +56
If I get Zuck-AI to agree to give me a raise, is it as binding as Robo-Zuck agreeing to it?
56
Lettuce_bee_free_end Apr 14, 2026 +5
I would, just to be mean to it.
5
DryTown Apr 14, 2026 +7
"Zuckbot is sad..."
7
gravy_maker Apr 14, 2026 +17
I suspect that part of the motivation - perhaps the biggest reason - is to add plausible deniability to any blatantly illegal instructions Zuckerberg gives. We already live in a world where it's hard to punish CEOs because they know to give those instructions verbally and have their subordinates start the paper trail for them so that there's a fall guy if and when the organization is caught doing something illegal. It may very well be possible, in the near future, for Zuckerberg to tell subordinates to do something blatantly unethical or illegal (such as directly impersonating people on Facebook to interact with their family members as a form of advertising) and then, when questioned, simply say, "It was the AI, not me; I can't be punished for something I didn't do, and the AI can't be punished because it isn't a human." No need to take the risk of someone spilling the beans on it anymore; as long as it's done over a video call or through an email, he can always claim the AI did it, and due to the burden of proof resting on the accuser/prosecution, it could be very nearly impossible to prove any personal culpability for anything - especially if there are no meaningful logs of the AI's activities. And given how poorly the regulatory environment in most of the world is keeping up with the rapid progress of AI technology (often not even trying, or in the case of the USA, actively trying to prohibit regulation before it can even start), plus our reluctance to ever meaningfully punish the organization itself beyond a fine that's trivial to them, it will probably work.
17
naakka Apr 14, 2026 +6
Seriously. Will the AI be making all the decisions in the future, or what is the purpose of talking to it in the first place?
6
DryTown Apr 14, 2026 +9
Why not just pass around a shoe box that low level employees can shout their ideas and grievances into?
9
blackweebow Apr 14, 2026 +6
Think Xfinity Customer Service but for HR
6
Teantis Apr 14, 2026 +7
Every AI agent customer service I've used so far is essentially just me getting dripfed the f****** FAQ I already read. It's so aggravating
7
Alive_kiwi_7001 Apr 14, 2026 +3
I expect someone will be compiling a log that will go into another AI model that determines who gets fired next.
3
incunabula001 Apr 14, 2026 +26

>Digital clone being trained on his thoughts, tone and mannerisms to help workers feel connected >Meta believes the Zuckerberg experiment could be replicated by influencers and creators, a section of the digital economy that is wrestling with the notion of digital avatars. >The Wall Street Journal has reported that Zuckerberg could be helped to prepare for such sessions by a “CEO agent”, a personalised AI system that is being developed at Meta and is already helping him to get internal company information faster. LurksAroundHere Apr 14, 2026 +10
Next headline: Meta shuts down AI version of Mark Zuckerberg because of staff complaints it was behaving too humanlike.
10
0nlyhalfjewish Apr 14, 2026 +9
I had an opportunity to work on a project like that at my work and turned it down. Nothing sounded less appealing than creating a fake version of a real person via AI.
9
straubster Apr 14, 2026 +6
This is just a fancy HR feedback tool, and it reeks…
6
celluloideyez Apr 14, 2026 +7
He can’t be bothered to speak with those ‘below him’, those who do the work that makes his riches. Employees already despise AI and this will further cement that.
7
egoVirus Apr 14, 2026 +5
HA HA HA HA HA HA! So, do "the staff" even want to talk to "the boss"? Imagine working for Zuck, and actually needing to know what he thinks for you to do your job. I actually imagine a workspace where the number of times you accessed Zuck's AI puppet was a metric necessary to advance in his hunger games fantasy company.
5
michiganweather Apr 14, 2026 +7
Robot version of a robot
7
Royal-Illustrator747 Apr 14, 2026 +6
Perfect. He spent $10 billion on the metaverse because he assumed everyone else hated human contact as much as the people from his planet do, and now he can send his Zuck Bot to deal with humans. Meanwhile Altman says he will give up his life if that is what it takes to upload his consciousness. These broligarchs are emotionally crippled sociopaths.
6
Potential-Fan-6148 Apr 14, 2026 +4
He’s never in the office anyway. He’s easily the most absent CEO I’ve ever known. I used to work at meta on some important projects. Only ever talked to Boz, never zuck even tho they were projects that “zuck peronally PMed”
4
Puzzleheaded-Put-154 Apr 14, 2026 +5
So he's making himself obsolete.. Because I see no reason to pay him, if there's a clone of him working 24 hours for the price of electric.
5
WildeOpen Apr 14, 2026 +6
If it has any personality you know you're talking to an AI.
6
Zorothegallade Apr 14, 2026 +4
"Somehow the AI version sounds more human" the employees reported.

3
wingspantt Apr 14, 2026 +3
So can you ask it for any actually decisions or feedback that will hold ANY weight in the company? Or will it be a total joke like it sounds? "Mark, the other department leads believe we should not focus on this patch for end of month. Please advise." Like there's no way whatever this AI says will be taken seriously.
3
highoncatnipbrownies Apr 14, 2026 +3
So they admit CEOs are fully replaceable.
3
theweekendwolf Apr 14, 2026 +3
Probably more likeable than the real Zuckerberg

This is probably better than the real one as at least you can turn it off.
3
Beautiful-Lie1239 Apr 14, 2026 +3
B/c nobody would be able to tell any difference. Like a reverse Turin test.
3
litnu12 Apr 14, 2026 +3
So finally a human sounding version of Zuckerberg?
3
craftiecheese Apr 14, 2026 +3
I guess it's time to build an AI version of work me.
3
Ziograffiato Apr 14, 2026 +3

3

3

Is this where Meta's $88 billion went?
3

Imagine being at your job and every time you log in there's an AI version of the CEO telling you how you failed to meet expectations the previous day and how it would really be a shame if they had to let you go.
3
Mazjerai Apr 14, 2026 +3
I give it a week after release before someonr jailbreaks generative-zuck and gets him to say something financially damaging
3

He needs to be laid off due to redundancy...
3
Dvdcowboy Apr 14, 2026 +3
I hope they use the metaverse avatar of him, might as well get their monies worth.

Oh man I hope they use prompt injection to get him to give up his shares of the company for like a penny each. Lol
2
BloodFartz69 Apr 14, 2026 +2
Are we close yet to figuring out Zuckerberg stumbled on one good idea at the right time and hasn't done another noteworthy thing in tech since, other than buying other people's stuff? Dude is weird and built a business that constantly pivots away from its founder's own ideas, lol.
2
jpiro Apr 14, 2026 +2
That's fine, as long as FB is bound by anything AI Zuck agrees to.
2
Affectionate-Guess13 Apr 14, 2026 +2

So instead of awkward real-life Zuck, we get optimized awkward AI Zuck.
2

Will those conversations happen in the very successful metaverse?
2
Positive-Media423 Apr 14, 2026 +2
It's time to fire him, then.
2
loves_grapefruit Apr 14, 2026 +2
I wonder if they will be allowed to verbally abuse the AI Zuck? Maybe it could be therapeutic.
2
Pisnaz Apr 14, 2026 +2
Is it cause they ignore him currently and figure a legless ai version will have more personality?
2
BrianWantsTruth Apr 14, 2026 +2
Real living Zuckerberg fails the Turing test, I wonder if his AI clone will be more human.
2
Squire_II Apr 14, 2026 +2
I can't wait for the news articles about how employees got the new Zuckerbot to agree to their massive pay raises and other shit. Or comments about how it's more human and lifelike than the actual Zuckerberg.
2
68plus1equals Apr 14, 2026 +2
Finally we can start to outsource the CEOs
2

That’s some Black Mirror shit right there.
2
starrpamph Apr 14, 2026 +2
So ai can do the job of their most expensive employee? Sounds like it’s time to get rid of that employee then.
2
OlderThanMyParents Apr 14, 2026 +2
Cool. Like the AI customer service bots I've interacted with, it will give employees the illusion of speaking with someone who gives a shit, while absolutely nothing happens to their input, and Zuckerberg gets to avoid the unpleasantness of interacting with the people who make all his money for him.
2
radiationshield Apr 14, 2026 +2
they could replace him with some old stock animatronics from epcot .
2

The big plus: they can tell him to “GFY” which should serve both as a morale booster and stress reliever.
