Well I don't think the CIA asks any nation permission to operate in their countries lol

Almost like they were there operating… illegally? *Gasp!* But how can that be!? ^(see, c*** like this is precisely why we’re over here in Vancouver BC screaming “ICE out of fifa” because… why the *hell* would *ICE* be in full operation *here*)

What?  ICE regularly operates in Canada and has for years.  They have an investigative department that works alongside Canadian law enforcement and does not have the power to arrest or use force.  Just to be clear, I hate what ICE has done and come to stand for - but their presence here is not, in and of itself, unusual or cause for alarm.

It’s cause for alarm and concern, you dolt. Based on what they do, even if it just hasn’t had the misfortune of happening to you. As long as you’re okay, though, right?

> you dolt. Haven’t heard that one in a hot minute and so I thank you for this (re)addition to my vocabulary arsenal

> does not have the power to…use force. Because we all know that a USA agency not having the power to do something means they won’t actually do anything… *right?*

Have the CIA ever been arborised to operate in a foreign country!

Yes, but in this case it looks like they went behind the Feds back and worked directly with the state

The US has to identify all staff present at Joint Defence Facility Pine Gap. Staff not identified are foreign espionage agents, a crime in Australia regardless of any espionage activity.

Agents just hide as embassy diplomatic staff. Russia's embassy in hungary had like half of it's staff who were spies, it was only recently found out. Pretty common practice. They either work at boring roles in embassies or ministries. Unless they are just assets not agents, in which case they can be anybody and anything.

“ if we let you go on the mission we’ll have to deny knowing about it”

The CIA is a clandestine organization, their work abroad is almost always illegal. I wouldn’t be surprised if the government knew and now just has to pretend like they didn’t.

Didnt they not participate? Earlier reporting says they just talked to local forces after an operation.

"died". They either faked their deaths or were assassinated by the cartels in retaliation for their operation.

"they either faked their deaths or actually died"

It was reported as an accident. This wasn't an accident.

You have any evidence of that?

Got it. So the 2 US federal agents who died were authorized to participate in any local operation.

Maybe if she had more control of her country the CIA wouldn’t need to be there

But we'll just ignore the unrestricted flood of illegal American Weapons sales that make up 90% of all guns that the cartels use aye? Its all Mexicos fault. Its easier that way.
