Maybe it's just me, but I don't think [Paper Planes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_K0hemcU5o) needs a whole TV show about it.

I still remember when she tweeted something completely moronic and someone answered ‘oh honey stick to your little machine gun cash register song’ 😂

This looks like something that gets cancelled halfway through season 1.

>Restless in the Florida Keys, Etta Tiger Jonze dreams of a life in Miami’s glittering, sub-tropical kingdom. But when her family’s drug-running business shatters in tragedy, Etta embarks on a dangerous journey through Miami’s neon-lit underbelly that will define who she is and what she’s ultimately capable of.

Imbd's one sentence synopsis was more informative than that > Etta Tiger Jonze seeks to avenge her family's murder and become the most powerful crime queenpin in South Florida.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m tired of having every Florida show nowadays be pulpy and riddled with Kingpins. They all look and feel the same to me.

At least this one actually filmed in Florida

DoctorDrangle Apr 9, 2026 +1
So it's like the Punisher, but instead of an ex marine corp special forces guy, it's just some teenage girl

Ain't this just the plot of the DC character Huntress, Helena Bertinelli.

Peacock has had arguably their best year for new content.

Wait? What the hell is going on. This looks like an intense revenge action thriller... Then Cary Elwes shows up wearing a goofy hat and Multiple different Aloha shirts looking like he is investigating a murder while on national Lampoons vacation to Miami... What the hell is up with this? Is it and intense drama? A dark comedy? Maybe in the end she joins up with him and it turns into a buddy cop film...

Cary Elwes wasn't in the script. He just showed up and started acting. Nobody was risking angering Dread Pirate Rogers

Cary Elwes and Edward James Olmos.

Smirnoffico Apr 8, 2026 +3
Olmos also looks like to be in the villain role, which is uncharacteristic of him

And Elwes is playing a good guy, which is kind of uncharacteristic of him.
