As obvious a lie as "Trump was a secret undercover agent inside Epstein's operation"?

specqq Mar 25, 2026 +133
Somewhere between there and “I haven’t seen that tweet.”
133
abnormalbrain Mar 25, 2026 +22
"Oh good, because we have that tweet right here. And we can see your reaction to it live. It's only two sentences, you can do it."
22
Traditional-Dig-9982 Mar 26, 2026 +1
“ I don’t know anything about that “ is his favorite saying

Mike Johnson is one of the biggest pedo protectors of the GOP. He would sell his soul for the malignant narcissist, adjudicated rapist felon. history will shine a bright light on all their illegal activities. Epstein Epstein Epstein, just to keep it viral.

National_Spirit2801 Mar 25, 2026 +22
I wish a reporter would ask him if he would sell his soul for Trump
22
Polantaris Mar 25, 2026 +14
"There have been reports that you sold your soul to Trump and/or the Devil. Would you like to comment on that?"
14
MundBid-2124 Mar 25, 2026 +7
Sir , what is the upside to selling your soul?
7
Slamtilt_Windmills Mar 25, 2026 +5
Unlimited ladybugs

“There have been reports that you’ve sold your soul to the Antichrist, Would you like to comment on that?” Fixed it for you

I personally love how he pontificates about religion, and how he knows more than anyone (except Papa Trump, I'm sure), but his rampant lying, hypocrisy, and pedophile-enabling displays his true character to anyone paying attention.
1
EmbarrassedCockRing Mar 26, 2026 +1
I mean what's he's doing essentially equates to selling his soul, no?
1
dover_oxide Mar 25, 2026 +1
Honestly, it's getting to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if he's on the list or somebody he knows.
1
fazelanvari Mar 26, 2026 +1
I heard he used to send his son to entertain guests.

Johnson: "The consequences of the Democrat shutdown are painfully clear." Reality: The GOP controls the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. How is it a "Democrat shutdown" when your own party is the one refusing to pass the CR you already agreed to?
205
Lilditty02 Mar 25, 2026 +46
I’m not an expert but I think to pass the save act they need 60 votes which means some democrats would have to vote for it. The fact that democrats are refusing to vote for it lets republicans say well it’s the dems fault and not be self aware and say maybe we should write a better bill. But they don’t mention that part. They just want to whine that democrats won’t do what they want.
46
Tmerrill0 Mar 25, 2026 +50
Yes but the SAVE act doesn’t need to have anything to do with the shutdown. They can pass the CR that ends the shutdown that previously they agreed was a good thing. They can’t help but try to turn everything into some sort of leverage to extort dems into complying with a grossly negligent piece of legislation, that should be debated separately
50
Mackdad2525 Mar 25, 2026 +13
The republicans and the republican own media will continue to lie and deceive the public. The blue wave is coming talk to your friends and help them understand how corrupt the Republican Party is.
13
nojelloforme Mar 25, 2026 +7
> democrats would have to vote for it. And if they do, the gop will say it's the democrats fault when millions of people are suddenly unable to vote.
7
IsReadingIt Mar 26, 2026 +1
They're going to say it regardless though. They're shameless.
1
rivertpostie Mar 25, 2026 +2
It doesn't matter. People will just choose to ignore. It's been about sound bytes and video clips for decades. The powers that be have realized they just need to confirm people's biases, and it's easy to do with polarized media. Both sides get to see and hear what they want.

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson was caught lying while trying to explain why President Trump rejected bipartisan plans to reopen the government and get TSA workers paid, writes Malcolm Ferguson.

bagjoe Mar 25, 2026 +52
Mike Johnson: not effective.
52
jrsinhbca Mar 25, 2026 +26
The word "impotent" is more appropriate.

callme_nostradumbass Mar 25, 2026 +3
Nah, certain things definitely make him hard.
3
Thac0isWhac0 Mar 25, 2026 +3

jerfoo Mar 25, 2026 +7
We're living in a post-truth world, at least as far as the right-wing is concerned. It's disturbing.
7
Travelerdude Mar 25, 2026 +20
All you TSA employees who voted for Trump, he’s using your livelihood as a bargaining chip to solidify his control over the country. You still think he’s *your man*?

I'm just surprised he knew anything about the shutdown. He usually doesn't hear about much in the news.
3
Guilty-Chemistry596 Mar 25, 2026 +3
I guess Mike Johnson, Mr Christian, hasn’t read the parts of the bible that talks about lying is a sin.

Shouldn't 'Mike Johnson Caught in Obvious Lie About Trump' be a sticky headline at the top of the page every day?
3
mikeholczer Mar 26, 2026 +3
Mike Johnson is caught in a lie about every topic he talks about. Everything is says is disingenuous and in bad faith.
3
m0j0r0lla Mar 26, 2026 +3
*Mike Johnson caught lying by simply opening his mouth and speaking words*
3
AdHopeful3801 Mar 25, 2026 +2
"Mike Johnson Caught in Obvious Lie" would be better - they you can just reuse the headline every day.
2
Competitive-Bike-277 Mar 25, 2026 +2
Doesn't matter. His idiot constituents will still re-elect him. Despite bring proven to be an even lower level of sub-human every day.

It’s not a lie, as Americans believe it
2
JiveChicken00 Mar 25, 2026 +2
It’s news every time Johnson lies? The biggest surprise would be if he told the truth.
2
californicating Mar 26, 2026 +1
What a shock.  This is the same Mike Johnson who told people Trump was an FBI informant on Epstein and when that didn't take immediately dropped it.  Mike Johnson has a psychopathic and narcissistic relationship with telling the truth.  He feels nothing when he lies.
1
Carlyz37 Mar 26, 2026 +1
He lies as much as trump now. Questioned about the hypocrisy of Trump voting by mail this week Johnson said something to the effect that Florida handles it better than other states. The only thing different in FL Is that election officials are allowed to start counting before election day 5 states have vote by mail almost exclusively including Utah. And they have for many years with no fraud problem. Many states, like mine, started offering vote by mail well before 2020. They have since expanded and improved the vote by mail system. We love it.
1
mabus42 Mar 25, 2026 +2
These jabroni ass-clowns don't give two craps if they're caught in a lie. They really don't. They're unhuman.
2

He should enjoy his tenure while it lasts.

Again?
1
bugmom Mar 25, 2026 +1
Granted, Donald has normalized numerous horrific behaviors but to me the most insidious is the lying. So many people think it’s just fine to lie now and don’t seem to feel a bit of conscience about it.
1
whoisnotinmykitchen Mar 25, 2026 +1
Isn't Mike Johnson lying to protect Trump an hourly thing?
