I would recommend her Plastic Hearts album. Midnight Sky and Prisoner are pretty great. It’s more classic synth rock-y than her normal pop stuff.

She sang Say Hello 2 Heaven at the Chris Cornell tribute concert. She spoke about it on Howard Stern and knew she was going into a lions den and had to win over the crowd. Love Wrecking Ball, and that f****** video is one of the best memories as a millennial. I remember watching it in college or just after. F****** hilarious. If we ever time capsule some shit as we go extinct or actually engage with intelligent alien life, that should be included as an important piece of human history. An era for sure 😂

She's got range to spare. Could have easily gone to falsetto like the original does but she's all chest voice and even adds screams at the end. I mean, it's not like they didn't rehearse it in front of her musical director and the band is perfectly capable of re-keying it. You may not like it stylistically but she's got this.

I kinda think that’s the point of this cover. I’ve always felt this was less of a traditional cover and more of a “part 2” of the original. The original is a great song, don’t get me wrong. It’s a little quiet and gentle. A lover broken and sad. Demure. Like she doesn’t want to be angry or loud. This version is the version that’s pissed. Angry. Like the character is past being sad and now realizes how much she was done wrong.
