The headline and the article are both quite biased. It doesn’t at all acknowledge the cross-border illegal immigration TMC deliberately allows to sway the voter base demographics because they know it’ll favour them. TMC is pro-Islam and neutral-Hindu party in a state that has a vigorous Hindu majority population. These demographic shifts lead to severe social instability in future between communities (e.g.: European Jewish settlers in Palestine). It’s quite weird seeing international news outlets twist this and terrible seeing TMC lack foresight despite widespread simple history lessons. What BJP is doing is definitely beneficial to them, but also good for the larger Indian community. How can a country provide universal food and healthcare to people of other nations when we have our own developmental problems to solve. Irrespective, is BJP bad? 100%. Is TMC worse? Everyday. Kolkata regularly ranks as the worst Indian metro city. They have the same ‘old-man-conservative-views’ despite wanting to come across as progressive and opposite to BJP. I’ve lived there for work for a few years, and all I could see was potential. It has the potential to look like Bangkok or even better with its water channels and beautiful architecture, but TMC’s corruption has razed it to a massive slum. I want more young leadership that is not sponsored by foreign interests/lobbies/corruption so they can actually work honestly for the people and we wouldn’t have to choose between lesser of the two pathetic evils.

Clickbait article 😂 People with 0 documents are supposed to vote now?? I am from the same state and will be voting tommorow. From my locality only deceased peoples name have been deleted or people who couldnt provide a single document from like list of 10 documents so do you expect the deceased to come vote? Or do you expect people who dont have any document to vote??

Millions of Illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries who have came to country illegally by crossing open borders and made fake documentations have been identified and action taken on them. Right now they are just removed from election process, later process to deport them will be carried out if deemed necessary.

Maybe single digit percentage are actual people legal or illegal. Most are dead, migrated or duplicate votes. States that underwent this process recently and had state elections saw increase in voter turnout.

Modi and Shah have been doing this in every state election. Take out enough votes oer polling booth. Pay off cash to some voters, register their own voters from other states to pad up their numbers and manage the bloody elections. India is dead as a country. With AI induced job losses, their only golden goose of software based revenue is going to get killed in next decade or so.
