So many people here are not getting it. Trump has been told by many countries he's on his own. We still have to defend our bases, and our allies because of trump's dumb ass shit. That doesn't mean we are suddenly all in on trumps plan. No one thinks it's a good plan, and no one wants any part of it.

Europe should stay out of it for sure. Need to get ready for Russia. Although I think the next front that will open up will be South Korea or South China sea

Yea ive been eyeing those areas this whole time. Does seem like a perfect time to stir the pot in Asia. On another note Xi probably has alot of his own political issues at home that he is dealing with.

Absolutely nothing weird about that...it is a highly volatile situation, any country with a military would be stupid to not put said military on high alert

The thing is we’ve been on high alert many times, this time they literally seem to loading up ready to go.
Of course everyone I know is also around 30 so they don’t have much experience with a “big” conflict.

I don't think anyone was on real high-alert. Greenland shit hat ears perked up, but it was all hypothetical, here there is actual war going on already

Give the UK some slack on that one, they did send 1 solider there as a "show of force" lol

They were tripwire troops, nothing really to lol about, perfectly valid purpose

I remember the headlines over in Canadian sublistnooks and people were like "this shits serious, the EU is taking it serious they're sending troops."
It was like less than two dozen and some of them were there for preexisting joint exercises.

> On a trip to the Gulf nations, Defence Secretary John Healey said extra air defence teams and systems would be deployed to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait while the use of Typhoon jets in Qatar will be extended.
I thought Trump was asking the UK to join in attacking Iran and secure the strait, but also he said he didn't need the UK and shat on our troops and ships, so it's not clear what he's asking....

He's in a narcissist tantrum infinite loop desperately trying to get countries to intervene in Hormuz so he can offload all the blame for that on them, while at the same time insisting he already won and doesn't need anybody's help because they're all weak and stupid.
"You weak cowards need to IMMEDIATELY come provide the help that we do NOT need OR want for the war we NEVER told you about that I have ALREADY WON!!!"

I thought I read a statement from the UK last night saying they will support intel and logistics but no boots on the ground.

Boots on the ground in Iran, acting as aggressors with America. Acting in defence completely different.

Trump wanted the UK to be involved with attacking Iran. This isn't that at all. It's moving to protect British bases and help British allies in the region.

The reality of dealing with a narcissist.
They set the house on fire, and you can say you’re not going to help them all you want. Eventually you’ve got to at least deal with rescuing your stuff. They create a vortex that is inescapable of. It’s about managing things rather than ignoring it.

You're right. It's not Trump asking or Trump's interests being defended.

The UK and a number of European nations have assets within the Middle East region that they would like to not get blown up.
Try your best to use a little more critical thinking when it comes to geopolitics because it’s a lot deeper than just Donald Trump.

We're not helping you. We're helping our allies in the Gulf states that got attacked after the orange painted shitgibbon started his illegal Trump-Epstein war to stop people calling asking why he's a paedophile and created a giant f****** mess he can't get out of as he's a f****** moron.

The UK is moving defensive assets in to the region to help the gulf states defend themselves. That’s it. It’s not to help Trump, it’s to help allies in the region to defend themselves from the mess he has created.
