My strange relationship with 2000s animated music videos.

Strange topic, but I grew up mostly listening to electronic music and I remember finding these kind of cartoony music videos like the Daft Punk's "Discovery" movie or Daddy DJ... odd. The bodies and faces are exaggerated, and the story behind the videos is quite the same : an unknown music group/dj starting to get success and a music producer using them for marketing. There is something so empty/dark but addictive that I can't really describe in these videos, could be the dark colors or the absence of dialogue. I remember having nightmares about Daft Punk's discovery movie.
